^ :)

If we are referring to god as people usually refer to "The God" in the Abrahamic religions (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abrahamic_religion) then:

Man made god but he made him/her/it to be a Blunderbuss.

If we are referring to god as the thing/being that started life then we have to ask dos the question make sense.

Is that God a blunder at all??? Or are we its blunder at all?

None. I would've said God is one of man's blunders, but.. if God was never 'created' than we would have no conscience. However, seems like the plan is backfiring.

how did man make god?
out of fear

he was already there,
Where? how? What is he? God is "he"?

god made man,
Why?

and gave us specific instructions and ur own will to follow it if u want or dont follow it.
Why would he give us instructions?

Why would he give us instructions?

y would man make god because of fear? wat is it exactly u fear? Life after death?

God is everywhere, god isnt anything we can imagine, god has no sex, he isnt like u and me.

i dno for sure

instructions on how to live a good morale life which would lead to a better life in the afterlife. Or be punished for wat u did wrong in this life.

fear of rain, wars, thunder, animals, etc etc

if you cannot imagine it how do you know he is there

should we try to imagine god or just not imagine at all

i dno for sure
So you are not sure why god created human beings? (just to make sure that is what you ment to say)

instructions on how to live a good morale life which would lead to a better life in the afterlife.Or be punished for wat u did wrong in this life.
How do we even know that there is a afterlife?

Yeah and I wonder what made man.

I know :)

The aliens created the humans as a subject of an experiment to see how it is to live on a planet like Tellus(Earth).

It's as simple as that.

Sinter, just to warn you, what you are doing know by saying men created god is a shirk, and the biggest sin in Islam.

Why God created men? Simple. To worship him. And according to Prophet Muhammad there are many(I forgot the number) different kinds of living and worshiping things in the universe.

"God" needs people to worship him?

[QUOTE=Fenerliyim]

God has no sex, he isnt like u and me.
[QUOTE]

I am sure he does do it sometimes.

When he's busy doing it and lets his eyes off planet earth, unfortunate events like volcanoes, earthquakes, etc etc happen.
:D

On a serious note, this question was posed by Nietzsche, after studying human behaviour when under the influence of 'instructions from God'. Even in his age, we had people who commited crimes on God's name and we have people today who do the same. Thats why, he ponders if God is the mistake we made or we are the mistake God made.

Your not doing any better.

"I wonder what made man?".

God has created man for one reason which I believe is purpose. God is merciful and gives life. He is the creator of life. Creator of the world and afterlife. That is gods main responsibility. Give life and take it away. Why would god even mean anything if he had not been responsible for giving souls, life, and beauty? Asking 'Why god created man' is just like saying 'Why are there two genders' and that is because they are created to make life..the purpose. Gods purpose and only task is creating life and gifting it to us. And thats a beautiful thing in fact but because we as humans failed to keep it as something great we differ from that. Thats why god is known as the Creator of All things. God loves to give life. But again, many see life as a punishment. However we are to be blamed for that.

I figure your atheist because Muslims don't challenge the existence of god. But I am dieing to know what your explanation is to how could man be possibly created? I would also like to know what created the universe, world, water, and sun? Fascinate us. :)

Not really since there is no God but Man is certainly Nature's biggest blunder!!

And in regard to the last post. No one created anything. No one has a definitve answer to why and how we are hear but Science offers more logical explanations than some almighty being. No one can disprove the existance of your god anymore than you can prove his/her existance. It's easy to say well if there's no god how this we get here but you can't answer the questions anymore than anyone that doesn't believe in an almighty. As a retort to your what created the Universe ... the same question could be asked of your god. where did it come from? It just appeared one day for a laugh??

Gav, what my religion teaches me is that God was around for all of time. Nobody created him. He created the Universe, Man and everything possible. There is nothing to create god. You have to ask yourself this 'Well man was made up of something, and I wonder where that something came from!?' and its just a long food chain. Up to the point where a miracle had to occur to create the element that started it all. Yes, it had to come out of nowhere.

"Not really since there is no God but Man is certainly Nature's biggest blunder!!"

Alright but you have to ask yourself where Nature came from. You get it? Its a loooonnggg endless food chain up to the point where the impossible happens. Where that very element that sparked life is made.

But look, thats my belief. I am completely fine with atheism. I respect everyones views and I don't want this to really turn into too much of a debate. We all got our views and as humans we should be happy to have the freedom to express them.

What are you guys talking about :nono:? .... God is perfect and made no blunders. Humans are not a blunder altho we may not be perfect.

I don't belong to any religion, but this is what I came up with in a philosophy class at university a while ago now which my professor tried to "borrow for keeps" I guess it's a bit of a maths equation with philosophy:

1. Do you know what perfection means?
2. Yes. Perfection means flawlessness. To be perfect means to be flawless.
3. How is 'God' sometimes defined?
4. As flawless.
5. So, if:
> Perfection = Flawlessness; &
> God = Flawlessness; then
> God = Perfection

6. Do you agree that humans are not perfect?
7. Yes (obviously, we all have imperfections).
8. If humans are not perfect, how then do we know what it means to be perfect? Who put this idea & this concept of perfection in our heads?
9. Something or someone that is perfect.
10. God.

Don't look too much into it. One of my philosophies: believe in what you want, and let me do the same.

Philosophy is questions that may never be answered. Religion is answers that may never be questioned.

And If there were a God, I think it very unlikely that He would have such an uneasy vanity as to be offended by those who doubt His existence.

Im religious but I don't belive that god exists 99.99% sure. Simply because today we all know that man and all its surroundings are made of elements that came from previous generation stars that went super nova. My religion is all my ultimate concerns,my traditions,my culture, other ppl's cultures,my moral guidance, soccer and other sports etc...
