Hi everyone,
I'm hoping someone may be able to help me. My football team Swindon Town (English league 1) are in the process of being taken over and the company name that is supposed to be involved is Best Holdings, based in Portugal. Little information is being disclosed about this company but the latest news is that Jose Veiga is to join Swindon as General Manager, and i believe he is well known in Portuguese football.
If anyone can help me to find out about this company Best Holdings i'd be very grateful. Someone here has the idea that the name is BE (taken from Benfica) and ST from Swindon Town, and that the plan is for Benfica to allow players to join Swindon to get match practice and also put players who Benfica no longer want into the market place. It's all very speculative at the moment and we at Swindon are very worried at the route the club seems to be taking and the heavy involvement by agents etc
