I know there not a "great" or big team but is their success in this tourney having any affect on how they play locally? all I keep hearing is about how they've knocked out some gigantes, so this is a team that cant be underestimated, or overlooked. america has had some sucess in the past with international play, but it has been a long time since they played anything like this, lets hope the refuerzos that came to this team and that the national players play well, especially those who have hopes of going to play in Europe.

River Plate intentó cambiar el día del partido


El Guadalajara vive días de calma, el mal tiempo ya pasó y los jugadores del Rebaño piensan en San Luis, mientras que el técnico prepara el duelo, también ya se frota las manos para lo que será el duelo ante los Millonarios de Argentina, el Club Atlético River Plate.

"La verdad que ir a dirigir al Monumental y contra River me pone muy motivado. Sabemos que River es de los cinco grandes del continente, junto con algún brasileño y Boca".

"Y también Chivas, eh; claro que Chivas está a la altura de River Plate y más allá de que ahora no ande bien, Chivas está dentro de los cinco mejores del continente. "Eso es algo que habla de ese respeto del CONMEBOL, pues si ya estaba pactado para un día ese partido, así tiene que quedar; no es porque un equipo elija, hace poquito nos tocó que nos cambiaran un partido ante Paranaense y Chivas siempre respeta, pero no es así. Los reglamentos son para respetarse y ahora CONMEBOL fijó bien su postura y está claro".

Sobre el arbitraje que tendrán en este compromiso, el estratega de Chivas declaró que tiene esperanzas de que el silbante haga bien su labor y que no se inclinen por los argentinos.

"Ese es un poquito siempre de duda, pero mira, ahora que fuimos contra los brasileños, los argentinos se portaron muy bien y así es que espero que la CONMEBOL siga manifestándose como hasta ahorita y sacando la casta para que las cosas sean conforme a reglamento".
