Since the Bundesliga creation (1963) Bayern Munich has been for decades the natural destination of the better German players, the great ones: Beckenbauer, Breitner, Sepp Maier, Muller, Rummenigge, Matthaus, Klinsmann, Brehme, Kohler, Effenberg, Kahn, Ballack and now Klose all played for Bayern. Even Schumacher at the end of his career played some few matches for Bayern.
The question is who is the best German player ever who did not play for Bayern? from a list that includes Berti Vogts, Bern Schuster, Pierre Littbarski, Rudi Voller, Felix Magath, Thomas Hassler and Matthias Sammer I have to pick: Uwe Seeler.
