Seriously though it will be interesting to see how they do this season with a world class striker at last. I'm hearing a lot of talk regarding how well they're going to do but I hear that every season. I don't forsee Liverpool winning the title anytime soon but they have the players to make a push for a better finish. I reckon third is about their best chance though. Still it's a funny old game....

Yeah but the league is not like CL.....You need to be consistent over a period of 10 months....I don't think liverpool have still got that in them......It also depends on rafa's chop and change policy.....But these big signings are a first and huge step.....So we can expect them to be really competitive in 2 yrs or so.....
