In Asian Cup 2007 3/4 place, Korea eventually scrapped, scratched, smacked, smashed, and squashed Japan!

But it was a penalty-shootout.

Next time, Korea would better trash Japan without penalty-shootout.

well it was not a bad way to win it given that we were 1 man down for more than 1/2 the total playing time... also given that the squad was young and inexperienced...missing the epl guys and missing kim nam il the captain. can you imagine a australia squad without kewell and viduka? or japan without takahara or nakamura? we should have won against iraq but it was too bad...

If Australia had not Kewell or Viduka, then they could have been beaten so badly by Thailand.

Korea is semi-finalist in World Cup.

Of course, Japan is never compared to Korea.
