Tomorrow, Sunday 05, 20:00 CET in Köln (RheinEnergie Stadion)

I'll be there and i'm so excited, counting the hours now. Can't wait to see the boys, the new players, Aziz Başkan... And i hope Daum and Ümit will be there aswell.

No major cup but it would be nice to finish the last season with this trophy.

Both teams played better than expected considering the season hasnt even started. I hope this is a sign of the league performance this season. The game was very entertaining to watch.

Well yea im gonna come out saying yea idid talk about Deivid and Deniz..And they are both still bad.. For once in his life, Deniz actually used his head and gave a smart ball to kezman and got an assist.. And for Deivid, i was in shock that the ball actually went into the net, with that position and pass from Alex, that should've been an easy top ten goal if Kezman himself had shot it. So Deivid still needs to go IMO..But still who knows, it is only one game so it really doesnt matter yet.

Hakan Arıkan acted pretty stupid in that position too. It was like a stunt jump. Lol I keep imagining it.

Lol, i suppose most of those who bashed particular players once will do for the rest of their days, no matter if the players will play with both hands tied on the back or score another 20 goals. Forgotten that it was him, Deivid, who scored such important goals lst season and became an integral part of those who we have to owe the title.

Whatever, not important. The only important thing is that we won and that this game was REALLY entertaining to watch!

Obviously all the joy and good team spirit that was seen before during the trainings was perfectly transferred to the pitch. Not really champagne football, but it was fast, it had lots of heart and fighting spirit and it was so enjoyable. No idea what happened to Deivid during the winter break but in my eyes he seems to be a new player. Nothing and nobody can hold him back and his play looks so easily. And Serdar was outstanding! It's obvious that the coach has build a great community, these boys looked like a real team! And yes, hopefully this was a foretaste of the upcoming season.

Bjk players were a pain in the neck. Falling over each every possible moment. Oh dear…. And these never ending discussions with the ref were annoying. The red card was deserved, Ibo hassled Kezman and actually i was pretty surprised that Kezman stayed cool and didn't react on this provocation. I had expected him to freak out. So, good move by Kezman. Still good play, from both sides.

The celebration was great, despite this mass kissing of ulusoy. I know about the Turkish tradition and i like it, but kissing this person… YUH! Like he already did at the TSL championship party, once again this guy smirked all over his face, took a self-pleased bath in Fenerbahçe's victory before he's going to throw more rocks on our path the upcoming season…. what a bad man this is, utanmaz adam.

Whatever, it was fun to see what came after, the boys celebrating. They had so much fun, pure eye candy. The win was the cherry on the cream cake in our Centenary.

I saw Deivid and Deniz very improved since last year. Especially Deivid. Last year, he'd just walk around the field usually do nothing, but yesterday he was on offence, he helped defence, he even took a long shot which almost went in. So I agree with cengo. My men of the match were Deniz and Deivid, also. :)

My Man of the Match is Fenerbahce Fans! We kicked their asses up and down that stadium.

I didn't get a chance to watch the game, yet, but once I do.. I will post my evalution.. with hopes, of course, it being shorter than Binas..

Let's just hope I'm not as preposterous as her when the day comes.

I am sorry, but Deivid really has just been at the right place at the right time..Imean, if u look at the goal he scored, he was on the floor, he stood up and than shot the ball..and about deniz, we will see how he plays soon..Like i said, i dont hate them, and i really never bashed them. Ijust had low hopes for them..And it was really the first game so no one has proved them selves...And Bina, idont know if it was for me, but if deivid had his hands tied behind his back and scored 20 goals people would still bash him?? It is the exact opposite bina

Yeah, but isnt positioning a very important thing for a striker. Being in the right place in the right time. :)

No mate, of course it was not especially for you when i said that about tied hands, i was talking generally and surely embroided. It's just, what happened to some of the players last year, how they became treated by some "fans" was really a shock. David at that time had no records to show, he was new in the team and benched most time. But this scapegoat hunting didn't even stop over legendary players like Alex and even our great Board. I never said "don't criticize" when there is reason to, but what i deeply detest is this witch-hunt that was going on. Booing at own players during a match is absolutely not acceptable, Volkan was even threatened with violence. I say that no player in the world is able to show top achievement all time, a defeat or just a "bad time" must be conceded without dismantling this player immediately, especially when huge former success is due to him. People forget former achievements easily and personally i think this is not right.

Like is said before Deivid, had no credits yet at this time, but he also didn't have many chances to prove himself. The only thing i know for sure is that it is HIM who we have to owe some very important – if not even championship deciding - goals last season… And the pre-season now: Look at the pictures of trainings and this training video i posted some time ago: The players and especially Deivid are spreading pure delight in playing, it's obvious that these players get along with each other well and i won't underestimate this fact. I believe this team spirit is at least as important for a good and successful team like skills and competence are. And after all what has happened to Deivid last season he is STILL around and obviously harder fighting than ever before.

Like FenerFan said, "right place/right time" might be one thing, but actually i saw Deivid COMPLETELY different at this game on Sunday. He WAS around, he WAS fighting and he showed resolve, and one more time he scored an important goal! I mean, it's not only me who sees changes on Deivid, otherwise i would say "blame the hooligan for blind enthusiasm", lol… However, we'll see how things will develop. It will happen many more times that Deivid hits the post or misses a pass, but this won't only happen to HIM. Lets wait and see until it happens to Roberto, how will our great fans behave?? ;) Whether he becomes bashed aswell and if not, it will show that fans apply double standards.

Obviously, you dont know much about football...that is crystal clear.

Deniz was amongst the best players in the team last season. It seems like you only appreciate players who scores or makes an assist. But not those who prevent Fenerbahce from conceeding goals or the ones who actually do the dirty work.

Any intelligent man/woman would see how good Deniz was last season and how brilliant he played together with Aurelio the other night.

But reading your posts only prooves how simpleminded turkish people are when it comes to football.

I wont even mention deivid...if he continues to play like he did against bjk there is a bigger chanse of getting rid of appiah than deivid. I for one hope so.

Being a true fan is like being in love; blind and stupid.

True fans need somebody to tell them what they can't see. And than they need to learn to deal with that.

It is not good to judge a player on one game, or change your opinion about a player because of one game. They do not sign contracts for individual games, but for seasons so therefore they should be judged by how they performed through-out the whole season.

No matter how good Dievid was in this game, I didn't watch it yet, I am and will be still biased towards him. He's a player that does not deserve to be wearing our jersey. No, you can not be so foolish to think he's good enough for Fenerbahce, because if you do.. you're actually insulting club.

Well said. The "true fans" tend to beat their goalkeepers too (FB) or swear the hell out of somebody till their club gets fined (BJK) or they also tend to trash their own stadiums. (GS)
All this violence is directly linked with their need to be "directed" or be provoked as Bosanac said. They are, most of the fans are directed, provoked mainly by the media so at the end it turns up harmin the team itself.
A true fan should know when to critize his/her team to make it better.

"Dost acı söyler" dememiş mi atalarımız? Dost acı söyler ama acıtmak için demez. Bu da ona benziyor bence.

Exactly, a true fan should support the clubs best interests. Players come and go, the club is always there.

I support the jersey, not the player that's wearing it.. unless the player has deserved it too.

I dont know whether i shoul laugh or cry....

Thank god there are only a few of you thinking like this. :)

As i said....it doesnt take much to critisize a player when he plays bad. But it takes a true fan to loook through that and to support him until the day he leaves the club.

Look at deivid's career stats and you will understand what im talking about. It's difficult to understand how sopmeone can be biased towards a player who has scored over 150 goals in the brazilian league.

I love kezman but how many more goals than deivid did he score...and kezman started almost in all games. I dont see you beeing biased towards kezman.

Same goes for deniz....the guy is a class player imo. Plays with his heart but all the booing for the slightest mistake made him lose his confidence...but he has bounced back big time. And not thanks to supporters like yourself.

Frankly i dont see how you can call yourself a Fenerbahce supporter because im more than sure that you started supporting Fenerbahce because of Baljic....am i right?

I also like the part where you tell me whats good or not for Fenerbahce...a club i have supported since birth.:D

Deivid playing for Fenerbahce is not an insult, far from it...the insult is that you support the team i love. You are basically saying that Aziz Yildirim and his board together with Zico and his crew are insulting Fenerbahce...hehe

Why is it that i cant take you serious?

Btw, you say you are supporting the clubs interest....tell me how much you know about OUR club's other branches?

How often do you follow the basketball games (women as men), our volleyball teams (women as men) and our swimming teams (women as men). How are you protecting our clubs interest in these branches?

Please dont talk about my club like you knew something about it! ;)

Something that I don't get, is why people make so many assumptions about stuff knowingly they're probably wrong. Stupid stereotypes. You know, Cengo, if I made an assumption about you at this point.. I would say, you are one ignorant close minded **ck with opinions adopted from other people, which is more pathetic than actually funny. If you can not get your point accross without getting personal with people, than just don't try. All you do is create hatred among people, and I thought being in forums for so long would at least have you realized by now that that's not how you are suppose to discuss anything.

Now, let's get back to the topic;

Dievid has been playing bad since he came here, he does not deserve your or my support. He played a few good games good, big deal. Like I said, he hasn't signed a contract for individual games, but for the seasons. If you look at his overall stats for the season, and judge him neutrally, you'd say kick him out the door and lock it so he can't come back in.

I love kezman but how many more goals than deivid did he score...and kezman started almost in all games. I dont see you beeing biased towards kezman.

Kezman is a fighter. If he doesn't score, he is at least involved in the game and trying to create something.. which is something I can't say about Dievid.

Frankly i dont see how you can call yourself a Fenerbahce supporter because im more than sure that you started supporting Fenerbahce because of Baljic....am i right?

I also like the part where you tell me whats good or not for Fenerbahce...a club i have supported since birth.

I shouldn't even respond to this, you are simply not at a place where you can judge my Fenerbahce support. But if you really really want to know.. I started to support Fenerbahce back in the Oguz and Aykut days. Around 1993, 94. I'm guessing that was before your birth, am I right?

Deivid playing for Fenerbahce is not an insult, far from it...the insult is that you support the team i love. You are basically saying that Aziz Yildirim and his board together with Zico and his crew are insulting Fenerbahce...hehe

Why is it that i cant take you serious?

Why? I don't know, look for your answer in the first paragprah.

Anyway, another insult to me is that I'm actually arguing with a person of your intelligence. Zico is insulting Fenerbahce, because he puts Dievid in the starting line up while we have players like Semih who would die for the club. Not Aziz, however, Aziz is just a president that likes to put the coach in the driving seat, regardless if they makin' a mistake or not. That is a good thing, but not always.

I'm wondering however, why you didn't talk like this while Dievid was playing bad, which was almost all season? You're a hypocrit. You can say anything you want, that's the beauty of freedom. However, what you do is what counts.

In an earlier post you are saying im beeing foolish and at the same time that i'm insulting my club by supporting Deivid...and then you actually have the nerve to say that im being personal. Please tell me that you arent this stupid?!

You dont even know the true meaning of supporting my club, it's history it's bondness to Atatürk. Fenerbahce isnt about buying players and to bash players you dont like. But i didnt expect you to know this.

The only ignorant in this forum is you. I have seen how people are responding to you and it doesnt look like you are being appreciated.

You are saying my opinions are adopted but im only laughing at you :D . Only prooves how ignorant and stupid you are to question a dude who attended his first Fenerbahce game when you even werent born.

If Zico is insulting the club by playing Deivid...then so is Aziz Yildirim because he allows Zico to use him. But i like this type of insulting....as long as my club dont get insulted by the like of yourself.

But who am i to talk....a bosnian wannabe "baljic" fan knows more than me about my Fenerbahce....lol:

Let's reminisce to what actually happened, shall we?

You posted a general opinon about true fans (and Dievid), and than so did I. Right? Following me? Moving on..

You couldn't accept my general opinon about true fans (and Dievid), and you've launched a personal attack towards me. Right? Conclusion..

The fact that you can not discuss about anything in general without making yourself personally invested in is not my problem. No, that's your issue. That is what you need to work on, my friend. You may call me stupid, but all I see is a guy in need of drama.

You dont even know the true meaning of supporting my club, it's history it's bondness to Atatürk. Fenerbahce isnt about buying players and to bash players you dont like. But i didnt expect you to know this.

Stop calling it your club, Fenerbahce is not yours. What Fenerbahce is about; you could not teach me, so don't try preaching me.

What I want to tell you though, Mr. I know it all, is to stick your head out of your ass.. because sometimes, you need to breathe fresh air. It's good for your health, know what I mean?

I don't know what to say about this. What do I say to somebody who's got no sense of individualism, and can't separate one person or player from another? You have a lot to learn.

I mean, seriously, what kind of a talk is this man? My Fenerbahce, my club, jesus man.. I've been a fan of FB for about 15 years, and you come and talk like this? Haven't you have no respect?

Accusing somebody of being a lesser fan than you is about as pathetic as pathetic can get. They'd have to come up with a new word of pathetic to describe you.

There is no idea to even debate Deivid with you....because you have already said that you are biased against him and no matter what i will say you will only come up with another excuse. Great personality to have in a forum....dont yu think?

I am biased against him because I too had great hopes with his transfer. I had support, and patience. All that has a way of melting away when a player performs as Dievid did. No, I will not change my opinion about Dievid because of one game.. unlike you, I look at the big picture, my friend.
