I haven't used Vista on a 2 GB memory, but I believe 2 GB should be enough.

If you want to upgrade to Vista, a new processor would do more good.

PS: We have the same graphic card.. now you can play FIFA :)

Well I went on a computer forum and asked some experts what they think. And this might be the system I could go with. And yes I know Vista is horrible but it is mainly horrible because most manufacturers put Vista on 1gb of memory and Vista alone uses up 800mb thats like exactly 80% of that...

A QUAD CORE PROCESSOR?!? They are much too expensive and E6600 is gold for the processors they put Vista with today. Just go to Best Buy. Plus the Geeks told me that processor is really good.

Forget what I said earlier I am back at this system as that extra 100 buck investment apparently does nothing for me.

DELL is good and they have often good offers. If you wanna buy a Notebook i can recommend Lenovo, the quality and support is very good.
