Greece is declared in a state of emergency. Everything is postponed, sport events, theater performances etc.

We can't be in a worse than war situation and start celebrating for Panathinaikos or Olympiakos the same time that parts of the country are dessapearing from the map one after another. The Superleague is going to start next week or after the elections.

I am not 1000% sure but I think that only 2 Greek clubs are going to participate in UEFA cup next season (the 3rd and the 4th). This is the first result of the downfall of Greece in the UEFA coefficient.

They have very good players and a coach that managed to take a team already created by the Latin coaches of last season , put his own mark and create a well-made mass. I did not have the time to buy ticket for the match :lol: They were all sold days before. This has a long time to happen in a Panathinaikos game considering that the temperament in the fans is not very good. But the latest good performances changed the situation a bit.

Great game. It had passion, 2 red cards (Seric and Dellas), organized attacks... Panathinaikos completely dominated the first half, however AEK recovered in the second half and they had some nice attacks too. I would say the score is fair.

Panathinaikos drew with Xanthi 0-0.... 13-1 shots and many great chances lost. Xanthi were playing an extremely defensive game which made it difficult for us but still we made the chances without being able to convert them to goals.

Fortunately AEK and Olympiakos have difficult away games tommorow. Aris are in great form and I expect them to beat AEK, but AEK are an extremely lucky team so I am not making any predictions.

Asteras-PAOK is going to be interesting game, as both teams come from good results and want this game as much.

Iraklis did score in the 82' but was called offside which wasnt and there crowd started chanting bad things about the ref and he called the game off in the 87'. then started it again in the 91', and stopped it for good in the 92'.

The bold oppobrium that dominated Greek football from 1996 to 2004 (Papoutselis, Spathas, Borovilos, Tsangarakis, Angelakis, Papapetrou, Euthymiadis, Kasnaferis.......) has no similar antecedent and can't be compared with any match fixing situation of Greece before. Even now after the fall of PASOK, they are still many leftovers of the paranga.

In Italy historical clubs were relegated because of their participation in scandals that produced less outcry. Here, no politician has the guts to restore justice. Everyone covers. We all remember the cassetes presented by Triantafyllopoulos - they dissapeared the next moment.

We absolutely dominated Olympiakos. Ivanshitz cut Olympiakos defence wide through. I can't believe the chances we missed :mad: The score should have been at least 1-3 for Panathinaikos. Anyway if Olympiakos plays like this again for the cup game against us, they better not expect us to treat them too nicely like we treated them today, or elce Olympiakos will eat 4 goals in front of all their fans :evil:

Not to mention why didn't Galletti get a yellow card for that tackle he did to Tziolis from behind??? If i'm not mistaken didn't Galletti already have a yellow card when he made this takle?? Also Ivansich arm was locked so this does not make it a penalty for you guys.

Probably PAO board would do the same in a similar situation, but I would not be same satisfised winning a championship with points i took in papers.

Besides, but the whole story is not Kalamarias' fault. From the moment EPO published a Superleague participation card for the player Kalamaria had the right to use him. If there was a problem with the participation, it should be turned up before. This is an issue that has to solved by the ones who created, not to blame Kalamaria give the points to Olympiacos and that's all. I hope the appeal to FIFA Kalamaria did is going to solve the issue, and if the responsibility EPO they have to be the ones who will pay.

Olympiakos should hand their tainted championship to the illegal Kalamaria player, Wellner, for he is the reason why Olympaikos won the championship. Olympiakos was so lucky to be at the right place and at the right time to play against a Kalamaria team who fielded an illegal player, as if Wellner made a difference in Olympiakos losing 1-0.

AEK had the most wins, most goals scored, fewest goals allowed, best goal differential, highest goal scorer (Blanco), and most assists (Rivaldo) and achieved all this on the field and not on paper. Since Olympiakos won the championship on paper, how about awarding the 3 goals that Olympiakos "scored" against Kalamaria to the Olympiakos player, Kovacevic, who was the second highest goal scorer, 2 goals behind AEK's Blanco, and have him be the number-one goal scorer as well? It is possible that this could happen, for Gagatsis, the head of EPO, used to be with Olympiakos from 1995-1997 as a general adviser/consultant.

Maybe Gagatsis should have the AEK-Olympiakos 4-0 game declared null and void as well. AEK should boycott the playoffs and give Panionios, their opponent, the victory, out of protest. Olympiakos is the champion of the courts (in more ways than one) and AEK is the champion on the pitch. I hope ARIS can do Greek soccer a favor and beat Olympiakos on May 17 in the Cup final.
