today waz the big day for kluivert after he signed his contact renewal ......



the contact bid ended at 33m ....

the coach considered that kluivert ans saviola will both play part to part after showing a great combination in training....


with the remurs about rivaldo not coming back barca will need a new midfield attack to replace himmmmmmmmmmm

I hope Saviola makes it. He can have a great first season if the teams plays well in all its lines, and support the attack. If Barça keeps playing like the past year, it will take Saviola a real effort to shine, though in river plate he shone the same as the team was playing badly.

And I hope Riquelme goes to Barcelona to play with Rivaldo, Kluivert and Saviola. Man that would be awesome, just put 4 defenders, 2 defensive midfielders, and leave it to them.

The earliest you'll see Riquelme in the Blue and Red is December.

And, quite frankly, I don't think the plan of Kluiver, Rivaldo, Saviola and a bunch of defenders is worth much. They certainly wouldn't play the kind of football we expect from Barcelona. I expect those three, with Overmars and either Giovanni or Luis Enrique to be the main part of the attack. That would allow Barca to spread the field and launch attacks from just about anywhere.
