June 14, 1987. 20 years ago, Greece wins Eurobasket 1987 in Athens. Greece defeated the two biggest powerhouses in the world after the USA: Soviet Union and Yugoslavia. They defeated Yugoslavia in the semi 81-77 and Soviet Union in the final in OT, 103-101.
