Ok so basically bottom K league team and mid table K league team are in the ACL this year. along with two Japanese teams, one from syria, iran, and ksa in the top 8.

no australians... hope they gain some humility in this. lol. losing to indonesian team and all.

here is a clip of seognam, mid table k league team beating the china "super cup" champions Shandong in the last game 3-0. lol... certainly shows a vast level difference in play.

so again the teams are:
1. Seongnam Chunma (KOR) notable for defeating the so called super cup champs from china.
2. Jeonbuk Motors (KOR) qualified automatically as last year's champs
3. Kawasaki Frontale (JPN) notable for beating a good K League team Chunnam Dragons (KOR)
4. Urawa Reds (JPN) notable for knocking out Sydney FC (AUS) who before the tournament thought that AFC was a joke and thought that they would win the tourny. lol
5. Sepahan (IRN)
6. Al Karama (SYR) notable for being in the last AFC finals with Jeonbuk (KOR), but they were no match for the bottom K league team of the time
7. Al Hilal (KSA)
8. Al Wahda (UAE) notable for being in the easiest qualifying group

Kawasaki have a surprisingly strong and conistsent side, considering that they were only promoted 3 seasons ago!
