Simoes, nuno gomes, richardo are all out with injuries and Cristiano Ronaldo won't be playing because he was suspended for this game. They will bring in 3 new players that have yet to earn a cap with the team. I hope the youngsters have a good game. Be a good experience for them.

Welcome back Benfica!
I'm sure our boys will bring back 3 precious points from Belgium. A win will practically secure a spot in Euro 2008!!

Thx Man. Iam looking forward to the game and should Portugal win which is very much expected of them, they indeed will be looking good regardless of the outcome of the other scores.

The FW line is quite weak. But MF and DF looks very good.

The forward line is far from being bad, but they are all very young and need experience.

Portugal will be going to belguim minus 4 key players.
Richardo
Ronaldo
Simoes
Gomes
On most team's that would be devestating, but I think Portugal has a rich blend of youth at their door, and even without these key players can still beat anyteam. With that said that is still alot of experience missing and I hope they get back to health real quick.

Belgium is also without some key players ( all defenders)
- Defender Peter Van der Heyden is out ( groin strain )
Defender Daniel Van Buyten, is in doubt with a hamstring problem
defender Vincent Kompany is injured also in doubt.

Maniche I believe was left off the team, but Iam not 100% certain. If so it wouldn't seem to make a whole lot of sense to leave a guy of his caliber out of the team, but it's big phil's call. I think he wants to give some youth a chance. This by no means says that Maniche will not be on the team at some point.
You heard right Man U is indeed after Nani and I think it will become a reality very soon. Be great if he goes and think he will with abit of time settle in well there like Ronaldo did.

Too bad nothing yet on Youtube on this game. Wanted to see both goals again. Nani's goal was good as he worked around to get the shot away, but Postiga's goal was awesome.
In the mean time I will put up this youtuber.

Yep, we got the win!! Not the 6-0 that Benfica64 predicted though. ;)
I guess missing C. Ronaldo, Carvalho, Simão and Nuno Gomes didn't really matter too much.
Now we play Poland, Serbia and Finland at home. :D We should get at least 7 points in these 3 matches, but hopefully 9. We have the easiest calender of the remaining contenders. :)
GOOOOOOOOOOO POOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRTTTTTTTTTUUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGAAAAAAAALLLLLLLL!!!!
