Have you heard of Roy of the Rovers?? Well, if you don't get your skates on and save him you never will!! Soccer Veteran Roy Race is now out of print, and megasoccer.com are launching a campaign to save him. We have an online petition located at www.megasoccer.com/roy. I've included a cuple of facts about Roy to keep you interested!!
· During his career at Melchester Rovers, Roy has had a foot amputated after a helicopter accident and lost half of his team when they were kidnapped by Middle East terrorists on a pre-season tour.
· Many celebrities have appeared in Roy of the Rovers including Bob Wilson, Emlyn Hughes, Geoffrey Boycott (as Chairman) and Martin Kemp (as a player).
· The most recent storyline has seen Roy struggle to control his tempestuous son and Melchester Rovers centre forward Rocky Race while daughter Melinda is the club’s Chairwoman.
