That penalty was bull****, and I can't believe Suazo missed that goal, it would have been the goal of the tournament...Robinho was great in that match, he won it for Brazil.
Luckily Chile will get one more chance to beat Brazil now that we meet again in the quarter-finals.

According to a "El Peridico de Catalunya" that Ronaldino has permission to negociate with Chelsea after a disagreement with Rikaard.
IMO, Barcelona would be do better without Ronnie. I think he has spent too mch time reading his won press releases.
Rikaard said last year the the dressingroom problems between Eto and Ronnie has got to stop and he hasn't much of a game since his poor showing in the World Cup.

I think it's just media hype. I really don't see this move happening. If he does leave I doubt it would be for England. I think his style suits Spain and if not maybe Italy. Still it's more likely than the other report that Kaka is a target for Chelsea

I agree on the style, but I watched a couple of Manchcester United games last year and they were looking more Spanish than English in style.

Ronaldoinho MIGHT have thought about moving to Chelsea until Mourniho was fired. They are in a mess and if I was Ronaldinho, I wouldn't take a chance of messing up my career with a move to Chelsea.

^ Exactly.
And I also agree with gav. Spain suits him. If he will move anywhere (Which i doubt) it will be to Real or Inter since they are buying Europe.

Man U do have a style that is similar to some Spanish teams and do play a more continteal style of football but Man U and Chelsea's style is completely different and ... well we're not talking about Ronaldinho moving to Man U are we ;)
I also read another report today saying he'd agreed terms with Chelsea but was now to decide where he wanted to move. That sounds totally made up to me. I still don't belive he'll move to chelsea. Infact it wouldn't surprise me if he's using the Chelsea link as a negotiation tool :D

Well I guess we will see, but it is clear to me that Ronnie is not happy in Barcelona and he certainly is not playing up to his potential. Barcelona has more than their fair share of "stars" and will do fine without him.
I wonder sometimes about Rikaard and why he let things get so far out of control. But to be sure La liga will be fun to again this year.

Well Ronnie's agent backtracked today and said Ronnie is happy at Barca. I don't see a Chelsea move happening. a lot of these things get blown up via the media.

chelsea is a big ass mess and if ronaldinho came it would be pure oxygen......we need someone like him...

No smoke without fire I reckon on this story. I think there's something in it - he'd fit the type of player RA wants to bring to Chelsea and with all the attacking options at Barca you can imagine a big bid would make them think about it.
I agree Gatsby. He's had some serious problems with his attitude in Barca for a while now with his partying and arogance. I bet that if Barca do get a fantasy bid from Chelsea they would strongly consider to sell him.
As you said no smoke without fire...

Ronnie was pathetic in the World Cup and I don't think he has had a game up to his capability since. And it would be nice to see another good team in the Premire League. And IMO Barcelona is top heavy with talent with out him.

Has anyone here even seen Ronaldinho and Messi link up with each other at Barca when they're in good form? I guarantee you that you won't see that in any other club in Europe. They read each other so well. This connection doesn't exist for either of them with any other player at Barcelona, regardless of how talented the other players are.
Besides, Ronaldinho at Chelsea would be like trying to mix water and oil. Sure, he'd be ok every now and then, but he wouldn't be consistent. When will RA realise that buying success isn't always that easy? Football in the real world isn't like a football manager PC game.

:) But Ronnie hasn't been consistant at Barcelona for some time. Durring that time Messi has had some good games.
I would like to see ronnie continue at Barcelona, but something clearly has to change. I am from the old school and would like to see anyone win La Liga, along as it isn't Real Madrid.
