Week 28: Fenerbahce vs. V.Manisa

V.Manisa got their first win in a long long long time yesterday. Fenerbahce will be coming off from a 2-2 tie with Kayserispor. BJK is behind us by 4 points and we must do everything in our hands to keep it this way. Unless BJK lose we realy dont have the luxury of tieing or losing. I hope Zico understands this and does not foul up in tactics.

Can you tell me about Bulak? All i know is that he was coaching various Turkish teams.

He was coaching denizlispor back then. We were playing against them in a cup semifinal. Luciano made a foul on a player near the benches. Bulak runs into the field screaming and shouting towards Luciano. Ümit Özat being the captain tells Bulak to get off the field, Bulah starts screaming against Ümit as well and you see them saying stuff to each other.

Result: The ref gives Ümit a red card....the federation gives him a total of games suspension. Giray Bulak gets nothing. :)

The ref was Selcuk Dereli...who else?

We still one the game with one man short and Giray started his hate campaign against Ümit saying he would talk to Fatih Terium so he wouldnt get called up for the NT.

Ümit Özat is no more in the NT...

before everybody jumps the gun because Besiktas dropped points let's be a little more humble and not speak ahead of ourselves. Almost all year Fenerbahce has more or less failed to take advantage of critical weeks where we could've pulled ahead big time, so much in fact that we could've won the league by now mathematically.

BJK losing points today is something we have to take advantage of.

Right now we had 2 positions where we wanted a penalty but imo they were both not penalties

Not ONE of them was a penalty.

Tuncay whiffed it with his 5-year-old touch, watch the replay Aziz baskan, cause he was blowing a fit after...understandable as Tuncay did a somewhat ok job of selling it.

Yozgatli just made an embarrassing dive. It is so stupid to go for a penalty considering we haven't had one all year. So forget it.

Appiah is 1000X more involved and 1000X more useful now that he's finally in his NATURAL position. He played this same position right beside Essien in the world cup and played fantastic. This is the most involved he's been since the Antalyaspor game from the beginning of the season.

yea A.Yildirim was so pissed after that tuncay position. But the ball had gone right through his legs.

Appiah is much more in the game but his passes are still horrible. Kezman also cant dribble for crap.

like usual we were not able to take use of the point drop of our rivals, we tied 0-0.

V.Manisa played defense with their whole and yet we still play with 1 foward. Hasnt Zico seen yet that none of our fowards are capable of doing this? We need to have 2 fowards imo. Just look when Semih and Dievid were together we had more attacks and more goal positions.

2nd. Our corners/free kicks are no longer threats, we cant score from them anymore. Nobre and Luciano were the reasons y they were dangerous, now only Tuncay is dangerous. We use to have 3 who could score from headers now we have 1.

3rd. That yellow card in the penalty box was definetly a penalty, the ball was in play.

Appiah played in the middle like everyone wanted and he SUCKED!!

I definately want him to go next season...surely there are better and cheaper turkish players that would contribute more than he does.

Tuncay's one-man show in this game also costed us the win.

i just look at the Tuncay position again at Maraton, and i see that its 100% penalty. Erman hoca is right, its 100% penalty. The Manisa players foot hits tuncays foot.

Come on....he didnt make a single good pass tonight. Even my father who normally likes appiah wanted him off the field after 30 minutes.

I can only imagine what people would have been saying if Deniz had made those mistakes. For some reason we are so tolerant against foreign players but dont hesitate to bash our turkish players.

I havent see appiah play one single good game this season and i hope we sell him for good money next season....better for him better for us.

We played so much better without appiah against besiktas....

Normally i would have mentioned the penalties that we didnt get but whats the point of it anymore....we wont get them back anyways. We have gotten used to injustice and that is worrying.

wat i am curious about is the 2nd one, the part when the V.Manisa player gets a yellow card during the corner.

If it was in play, we should have gotten a penalty, and seeing as we didnt wouldnt that be a kural hatasi, which would mean we should have been given an automatic 3-0 win?

good point, but don't kid yourself. the TFF, if they ever recognized that as a rule infringement, the best they would do for us is just replay the match at some unknown location

It's a fact that the refs have ben informed to not give us any calls that could help us.

We havent gotten a single penalty for over a year and there have been over a dozen clear penalties. The ones i remember the most are the kungfu kick by Martinez on semih and the one alex got a yellow card for diving....

The other fact that prooves that the refs are against us is that we have received 6 red cards...nothing strange about that. But 3 of our players have gotten a 3 match suspension (Appiah, kezman and edu). Im allright with appiah's but to give 3 games suspension to kezman and edu is beyond common logic.

But here is the interesting part....not a single team we have played against have received a red card during our games.

No penalties but plenty of red cards....:smoking:
