Rather than ask what you think Chelsea have to do to win, I would like to know what everyone thinks has to happen for Man United to end up losing this years premiership title ?

i think they will pick up and win evry game left this season and chelsea will win 4 and lose 2

chelsea is in the same boat game wise as man u they both are still in the running for 3 titles which makes the three point lead steady even if man u wins all it's games and looses to chelsea and chelsea wins out man u still will have goal differential i dont see man u giving up the premi title he has stated it is the most important of all the trophies they are up for

United will win the title. Especially after our win at Roma we are going into the rest of our matches on a high and i think everyone will be up for the Chelsea match. I cant see fergie letting united lose the premiership.

i dont like to discuss these things, they make me feel cursed. but i dont feel good about it right now. unless we can continue our passing game like against roma.

What we need to lose it I think Holic is asking....

To lose it is pretty simple. We lose at Chelsea and either lose or draw another game. I think chelsea will win most of their games so it could go down to goal difference. I don't think the Roma win will make the slightest difference to the Title race. Completely different competition.

We've played really well all season but that didn't make a difference at Portsmouth did it. We never looked like winning! Each game is its own cup final now. We can afford to win every game and still lose against Chelsea. Even if they win every game we would still win it as long as we won every game except the Chelsea game on goal difference.

There are some tricky games to go but in my opinion Chelsea won't win ever game and I have a feeling the Chelsea v Man U game will be a draw!

Ahaha it always seems to be a draw doesnt it. I really want United to beat Chelsea. That will give us a much more solid claim to the title and then mourinho can shut up.

I think a draw would also go a long way to winning it. chelsea really need to win every game now. It's still a little early to tell but can't see Utd losing more than one more and maybe a draw. IF Chelsea win all of their games they have a chance but any points dropped now would be disasterous. I don't think they'll win every game to be honest!

Date | Manchester United | Chelsea

17/4 vs Sheff Utd (H)
18/4 ---------------------vs West Ham (A)
21/4 vs Middlesbro (H)
22/4 ---------------------vs Newcastle (A)
28/4 vs Everton (A)-------vs Bolton (H)
5/5 vs Man City (A)
6/5 ----------------------vs Arsenal (A)
9/5 vs Chelsea (A)--------vs Man Utd (H)
13/5 vs West Ham (H)-----vs Everton (H)

I've highlighted all the games where either team might have problems, both teams have 3 home games and 3 away left so thats not a factor, both teams have West Ham and Everton left, neither are pushover teams (as demonstrated by the hammers earlier this season), but if either cause problems for one team, they will probably cause problems for the other.

The Man City game will also be a tough one for us and Bolton will be a tough match for Chelsea

Chelsea were pretty good last night actually. I don't think it was a case the Hammers were terrible. Wright-Phillips as excellent..... unfortunately....

Hmm well I think we will win tonight against middlesbrough (we are up 1-0 so far) and honestly I dont think either us or Chelsea are going to drop any matches...so that still leaves us in first.

Well I guess I was wrong. I cant believe we just drew 1-1 to middlesbrough. They are a good team but honestly, we couldnt afford to drop those points. We basically just gave Chelsea a huge chance at the title...
This sucks..

okok so far...it looks as if we still may be 3 points ahead of chelsea. it is still a nil-nil game between chelsea and newcastle..90 mins in
but a few minutes left...and chelsea is known for scoring in extra time..so we will so how it holds up...

Judicatormd no name calling if you don't mind. You don't know anything about onbrick247 or what footie he watches. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. As for the pen claim I've seen replays and it wasn't a pen. He got the ball before he got the man. If you watch it you'll see there was hardly any contact with the man.

Well done Newcastle for letting us off the hook although Newcastle had three great chances to score and failed to each time

I was furious with Utd on Saturday. Over TWENTY CHANCES on goal and only ONE on target and that was the goal. Boro played very well even though (besides the goal) didn't look like scoring. We strung a lot of attacking play together but just couldn't hit the target and that wasn't good enough. Rooney had another bad game missing a string of chances. Same with Giggs. He came on ebcause of Richardson's injury but Richardson played better overall which was disappointing for Giggs. Wes Brown didn't look good again and I hate to think what Milan will do to our second string defence. I was confident but not anymore.

Utd and Chelsea both had performances to forget but the initiative is still with Utd but we still have three away games and only one at home so it will be tough. The Chelsea v Utd game could be a title decider now. Get a result there and it might be in the bag but we'll have to see. Both treams need to win all their games.

Looks like I'm right so far as to who the tricky teams will be (see previous page), I think both teams will spring back with a win against Bolton and Everton.

And the Chelsea fan is right, we were lucky not to concede the penalty, but I can think of a few times where Chelsea have been in the same situation, its the way football goes.
