I saw there was already a First Division thread, so I thought I'd set one up for 2nd and 3rd Division fans (c'mon there must be some out there  )

As well as being a Gers man, I'm also fond of Queens Park. My cousin plays for them and I've watched them occasionally over the past few seasons. For anyone unfamilar with Queens Park (a.k.a. The Spiders) here's some facts about them
*They're the oldest and only amateur team in Scottish league football.
*They play at Hampden Park, Glasgow
*They were quite successful playing in the English FA Cup - reaching the final two years in a row in the 1880s
*It's thanks to them that Scotland play in dark blue - the first Scotland squad was made entirely of Queens players, who played in their own strips (dark blue at the time)

Please post any stories/ opinions about the 2nd and 3rd division. Who will win promotion from the leagues?, who will go down?, should East Stirling be kicked out of the league for being so crap?

I know there must be one of those 2nd/3rd division fans out there:lol:

Morton I think are gonnie win the league after there 9-1 win over Forfar :faint2:

But I don't think The spiders will win promotion because they've been on a bad way recently.

^Yeah - can't see Queens going up automatically after losing at the weekend. Should have a chance in the play-offs though.

I agree. Too often the first division has been over by Christmas with one team running away with the league. Two should be relegated from the SPL to get rid of the rubbish and freshen the league up a bit.
