I really like him. He is still immature but young. made his Mexican debut a couple days ago. Wish him the best.

I've been following this guy since quite sometime now and it is great having him with Mexico's NT! I think that he will really help Mexico a lot!
He didnt play last game because of to many yellow cards.(as usual) Why didnt he play against Gualoupe tonight. I hope he plays against the US in the final.

Even though Im an American since Castillo is on Mexico i want ............ ;) to win.
We got a great summer ahead of us watching him in the Copa America. Something to watch this summer

damn so castillo was pissed that he didnt play today. I dont blame him, but i guess hugo didnt want to risk it and wants to save him for the final against the US. I'm excited for sunday already!!!!

Its sort of like a tactic that Hugo is using because he is saying that he wants the players to be mad because they don't get to play sort of making them work harder to give it their all!

see i thnink even thought he excuse that hugo used hat he was too small to play aginst the players from guadaloupe is kinda bullshit it kinda makes sense..ok he is a short quick dribbling player and i am sue the he would drive the defeders crazy and those players from goudaloupe im sure wud have reacted by fouling him or something..

Castillo really has similar characteristics that Naelson Zinha has, they're both short and quick!
Castillo is most dangerous when he is used as a second half sub.Players tire and his rested blazing speed is unbelievable. I thought last game he was going to pull that but he never did.

Wow today's game by Nery was great, I've never ever seen him play like that! He's fast and quick, in one play he juked out like 4 US players, it was beautiful to watch!
Yeah i saw the first half. I def thought mexico would win but i guess not. he played well. The real trophy is up now.
We have both Castillo and Borja playing in the Copa America. question Every how often does it take place? I remember it being played last in 2004 which would make it every 3 years??? what happens on World Cup years???

Ok this guy has Greek Citizenship. Is this guy married and if he is married is his wife Greek or Mexican? If he keeps improving will he eventually choose to play for Greece or will he stay with Mexico?
Man City wants to buy Castillo.
They have sent down a team of people that will talk with him about his future. Castillo wants to move to a top club such as Barcelona, Real Madrid, Man Utd etc but those teams haven't shown any interest in signing him at the moment.
With this said it sounds like he could end up playing for Man City next season.

I don't know squat about his personal life, I assume he has an Uruguayan and Greek Citizenship. And once you play for one national team you can't switch, so even if he wannet to play for Greece he couldn't, FIFA rules I guess!

That's right. The issue is finished now, Castillo will be playing for Mexico (fortunately :)).

It looks like Castillo is going to Shakhtar. 15 million euros are not a few...
He wont be playing regularly at a big club. and if he leaves olympiakos for Shatkar he is a real idiot. He had a good Copa America. Hes not Kaka. He needs a reality check.

I don't know if Kokkalis would find another chance to sell Castillo for 15 million euros, so he would not lose this chance.
If Kokkalis wants to do something he is doing it, no matter the opinion of Castillo. If he wanted to keep Castillo, he would keep him in Olympiakos no matter if there was an offer from Barcelona or Chelsea. Now he wants Castillo to leave and he is leaving, even if he did not like the idea of going to Ukraine in the beginning.

Kokalis didnt want to sell him in the first place. Castillo did. Castillo wanted the money bc he get 25% of the sell value. So he is going to a smaller club and a worst league(my opinion) and has to learn a new language because he wanted money. It sux that most players are about money now a days.
Most players dont stay to long in Russia and the Ukraine. Ande gia. I really wont miss him. I supported him bc he was one of our own players but he did to many stupid things. 11.25 millions euros (75% of 15 million) can get u alot these days. Especially players that can finish.
He wont get the chance to sell him again. He's not that good. He scored against small South American sides + 1 against Brazil. he average a yellow card a match as well. Great player.
