Fenerbahce has arrived at Halep to play a friendly with Al Itthiad. The game will take place tomorrow.

Rustu, appiah, Lugano, and Umit have not been taken to Halep due to their injuries.

We tied 2-2, really a bore of a match with many of bench players used against them. It was a good practice match. I think Selcuk played for the first time in a long time, and Kemal Aslan as well.

The opening ceremony was pretty cool....but it delayed the matchstart with 2 hours. I didnt expect good football in this game because we played with reserves and it was more like an exhibition game than a friendly game.

It was more for political reasons, i am happy to see Fenerbahce aiding Turkey in political relations. But Tuncay shouldnt have played, he is overworking himself, he needs a rest

This was a friendly that we played a few days ago. I'm suprised nobody opened a thread for this match.


After watching the highlights of this game, I am very - very concerned about Volkan. He is making horrible mistakes.

The game ended 2-2, and both goals that Ittihad scored were Volkans big mistakes. I seriously think that we should give Serdar a chance in the starting 11. We can not tolerate the mistakes he made here in the upcoming official league matches, as this was a friendly I'm not worried about the result.

As impressive as the atmosphere might have been, i don't know if it was a smart move to play this friendly game at this stage of the Turkish championship. They should have saved their power for what is expecting us in the TSL the next weeks.

That was the dumbest thing I've ever seen Fenerbahce do since we bought Beschastnikh.

If it was for Political Reasons, then what the hell kind of Fan is Erdogan? How selfish man. What would've been the difference if we played this game after the season was over. Why did it have to be now. Not only that but as Fenerliyim said, we're playing Tuncay and he's getting overworked, we played Alex, Kezman got lightly injured from it, the players got tired...all of a sudden you have two players fighting in practice the next day. This is fatigue.

What a retard, I have a feeling that Aziz didn't have much choice to play this game or not.

To this you can add that players like Kemal, Selcuk and Can got to play after a long time.

It's our 100th anniversary year.....i expected a lot more games like this. To be honest im more interested in having a memorable 100th anniversary than winning a title that we can win for another 100 years....but we will only witness one 100th anniversary.

Mentally maybe, but physically??

Regarding friendly games for the 100th anniversary year: The Centenary year continues for another 8 months, we have plenty of time to attend such friendlies. Playing at this stage isn't only exhausting for players, it's also about the days they missed for training due to travelling time. And as it was mentioned before: the risk of any injuries was just too big.

Of course it's necessary to relax in between, letting one's mind wander, but there are other ways to do without travelling around, loosing training days. To get those players you mentioned back to routine, it had probably been better to let them act in a friendly game as happened lately with Gebzespor. But those big friendly games i would really prefer to see when our duties are done end of May.

I guess i understand the background and intention of this sentence.... No doubt about it – the 100th year anniversary is something UNIQUE!! And from what we learned so far, Fenerbahçe does EVERYTHING to make it unforgettable and it won't ever be forgotten!! BUT….. the TITLE – ŞAMPIYON 2006/2007 – will be the sherry on that cake!
