Tavriya awarded match on default
Despite losing 2-0 in the first leg of their second round clash in the UEFA Intertoto clash against FC Spartak Varna, the UEFA Control & Disciplinary Body have decided to award the match by default to the Ukranian club FC Tavriya Simferopol.
The decision has been made on the grounds that the Bulgarian club fielded Genadi Georgiev Simeonov who has not been duly registered with the UEFA administration. Simeonov came on the pitch in the 60th minute instead of Plamen Rusinov.
The result will therefore be changed from 2-0 to 0-3. The Bulgarian club has the possibility to lodge an appeal within three days (until Saturday 7 July 2001, 24:00 hours).

... Itīs amazing the way they change the sports true , I mean , change all a result , all a 90-minute action and after one final result they go to some office , have a seat and decide to announce some new and diferent result ... ***king assholes !!
Why the decision should be like this ?? Why not replay the match ?? Till when this ***king jerks will make things like this ?? I hate UEFA and every UEFAīs director ... itīs always the same circus , BYE !!
