Cool, thanks. turkish soccer needed this after some troubling times lately. They are quietly rebuilding. This is the 4th win in the group in as many games. 12 goals scored and 1 conceded. There is a deliberate approach in Turkey to work hard now and rebuild a new direction for modern soccer. If they beathn Norwar on WED you can all but count them in for 2008.

This game was superb, havent watched anything like this in a long time. I was fearful going into the match and especially when they scored the 1st goal in the 5th minute i thought it was over for sure. But we pulled through amazingly. We had many injuries before the game and now during the game :(
At least they didnt effect us.

I have to say Volkan wasnt awful or great. Real lucky imo, Greece had 2 one on one chances which would have changed the game if they had made them. But as the saying goes "atamayanlara atarlar" and thats exactly what we did.

Hakan sukur was useless, he didnt even win us any balls in the air. His assist to G.Unal was a complete fluke. Guy is useless but with all these injuries, really our only choice. He didnt call up Karan who would be more effective imo.

After Greece's 1st goal i thought to myself that we were gonna lose bad but then i thought this is good, greece is dropping back to a more defensive mode and no team can survive Turkey's constant attack and thats exactly wat happened.

I say if we win against Norway we are 100% through, but i think we will lose due to overconfidence after this greece game.

Yeah it scares me to go into the next game. they have a bad habbit of relaxing too soon. If they can relax and play confidently I think Norway will be intimidated.

best thing about this game is that no one expected this score.

we beat them 2:1 now our team will watch very closely how well turkey does now and study this game

A great win....i didnt watch the game but i heard we played well.

I feel kind of sorry for greece....it's their independance day today. I dont think anyone will be happy about it today...:D

Dont undestand why hakan is still playing in the starting 11...like i expected he had another poor game whenever he plays against a better defense. I guess we wont get rid of him unless he gets severly injured or retires from football.

Other than him i heard the entire team played very good including the replacement for Ibrahim, Volkan from Antalyaspor.

Nice to see our own Fenerbahce players having a great day at work....keep iy up Türkiye.

I think the Greek fans underestimated the response the Turkish players would have to their bad behavior. When they booed the national anthem you can see the team hold their arms tighter.

we had a little stumble with norway by drawing them although we did deserve the win from wat i saw. 30% possesion by Norway and 2 goals. Both of which could have easily been stopped Volkan
