I'm not sure if Kris Boyd should be playing next season for Rangers. Wait - please hear me out before giving me abuse.
I know he's a goal machine who'll get 30 a season on a regular basis and without his goals we'd be sitting mid-table this season but his laziness and lack of mobility really pisses me off.
For example I was at the Aberdeen game last week and although Boyd scored 3 he was anonymous in the second half. And for those who say his finishing makes up for everything - they're wrong. There are loads of better finishers in the SPL but they don't get the goal totals because they actually chase the ball into the corners and don't sit in the box all match. To be honest I could score 30 goals in a season if you gave me the ball in the six yard box three times every match!!
I'm not saying Smith should sell him in the Summer but with Gow, (almost certainly MacDonald) and the techincally awful but hard-working Seeeeeeeeeeeeebo at the club next season, Boyd's selection shouldn't be automatic. He should have to work for his place or face sitting on the sidelines for the rest of his Rangers career.
So opinions - Boyd or no Boyd?
