Leeds are set to be boosted by the return of four key players from injury.
Gary Kelly, Tore Andre Flo, Robbie Elliott and Alan Thompson are all making good progress with their respective injuries and they could return to action soon.
Former Republic of Ireland international Kelly has been out of action since November due to niggling back and ankle injuries.
Flo has been sidelined since breaking a bone in his foot at the end of January, while Thompson and Elliott have missed the last few weeks with hamstring problems.
Leeds assistant manager Gus Poyet. admitted the return of the trio would be a massive boost for the Championship strugglers.
"When you look at the injuries we have, the international break has come at a good time," Poyet told the club's official website.
"Tore (Andre Flo), Thommo (Alan Thompson), Gary Kelly and Robbie Elliott are all getting nearer and they're good players we can have in a week or so.
"Gary should be training next week which is good news, Tore has been running and is close and Thommo as well."
Anyone think Leeds can survive? To be honest the bottom, like the top, is pretty close points wise. I think Leeds still have a chance even though they are at the foot of the table although it will be tough. I'm no fan of Leeds but have to admit I do feel sorry for them. Risdale destroyed them!

Leeds will survive possibly if Poyet comes out of retirement and plays a few games for them.
he was class for Chelsea.

He certainly was. The Leeds team are underachieving and it will be disasterous for them if they go down but the luck has been against them and at this point of the season every point is crucial. It's 50:50 if they'll survive or not but you'd think Wise would be the guy to motivate them!

Being a HUGE Leeds fan, it's dissapointing to see the team not fairing well. If you look back not long ago, you'll see that we came 5th in the premier league at the end of one season, and then two seasons later, we were relegated. Its a shame that the club is having huge financial problems, and are unable to aquire new talent, or keep the a majority of the team together from season to season. I know things will start to look up when the money situation is sorted, but until then, i guess all one can hope for is a bit of luck to stay in the championship league, because if the team is relegated again, i don't think they will make it back into the premier league for a long time...

IF they can stay up this season the team is in a position to regroup. The team isn't a bad team but the club will be destroyed if they are relegated.
Only a few season ago you were playing the likes of Barcelona in the Champions League. It's a scary thought!

Leeds Uts are on a roll now pretty much the same way as Charlton are in the Premier League. I hope they can get out of it and then give that clown Wise the boot.

A great result at the weekend and Healy was bound to make the headlines after his time with Northern Ireland. I wanted Preston to win to be honest as I lived there when I was younger but Leeds don't deserve to go down and they still have a chance of staying up. I agree that they are playing like Charlton at the moment and I have a feeling they'll stay up.
Don't be silly the leed's are going down... and good riddance.

Leeds United, who were already on the verge of relegation from the Championship, have entered administration, and now incurred a 10-point penalty.
United appointed administrators KPMG who immediately agreed to sell the club to a newly formed company called Leeds United Football Club Limited, the directors of which are Ken Bates, Shaun Harvey and Mark Taylor.
Richard Fleming, joint administrator and KPMG restructuring partner, revealed Leeds' debt totalled £35million.
Fleming told KPMG's website: "We were asked by the board of directors to advise Leeds United on Monday 30th April 2007. The club has experienced significant financial difficulty for some years and was burdened with historic debt and wage structures.
"It was necessary for the club to enter administration as its balance sheet dated 31st March 2007 indicated debts totalling approximately £35million, with a cash injection of approximately £10million required to continue trading.
"Further, Her Majesty's Revenue & Customs recently issued a winding up petition for approximately £5million. If this debt had not been paid by 25th June 2007, the club may have been forced into liquidation."
Football League rules state any club entering administration is to be docked 10 points.
Administrators understand that these points will be deducted from this year's total and not next, thus confirming the club's relegation to League One, but also ensuring, crucially, that The Whites start next season with a clean slate.
Leeds' collapse is well and truly complete. At least the fans knew they were destined for the drop anyway. If it looked liked they might have scrambled to safety and then bene hit with this it would have been devastating.
A truely wonderful season with the leeds scum and the piggies going down.

There is now a real danger that Leeds United will not be able to start the new football league season, their administrators KPMG have warned.
The comments were made at a High Court hearing in Leeds, where the club's plans to exit administration are being challenged by HM Revenue & Customs.
KPMG said that unless the club is able to leave administration, the Football League may not let it start the season.
BBC Radio Leeds understands the Football League is as yet undecided.
No-one at the Football League was immediately available for comment.
Renewed rival bids?
The court case has now been adjourned until 3 September, while Leeds are due to play their first game of next season away to Tranmere on Saturday, 11 August.
Former Leeds chairman Gerald Krasner told Sky Sports News he thought the ownership question would be sorted out before the start of the season.
He also raised the possibility that two interested parties could join forward to buy the club if KPMG rejects Mr Bates' plans.
Those who have previously declared an interest in buying the club include Duncan Revie, son of former Leeds manager Don, and property entrepreneur Simon Morris.
Unpaid taxes
Earlier this week, businessman Simon Franks said he was ready to buy Leeds United, through his Redbus investment vehicle.
HM Revenue & Customs is unhappy at the plans of Leeds chairman Ken Bates to pull the club out of administration by paying creditors just 8p in every £1.
Mr Bates has already warned that the cost of defending the court action could cost the club its future.
Leeds United has debts of £35m, with HM Revenue & Customs owed £7.7m in unpaid taxes.

Well, this upcoming season has my Rovers facing Leeds United. I'm a bit nervous myself, with their history, past, and fan base, it'll be tough for my Rovers to play there. But hey, I'm glad we get the chance!
