Ronaldo matches Midfielder Goal Record

Ron has now matched the Midfielder goalscoring record of 16 goals and only needs one more to be the Premiership's highest ever Midfield goalscorer (although it's debatable whether being a winger classes you as a midfielder .. I think it does).

The record of 16 goals was previously held jointly by Chelsea's Frank Lampard and Man U's Andrei Kanchelskis.

I was surprised Scholes wasn't up there with Lamps and Andrei. I was sure he scored a hatful of goals a few seasons back but couldn't see him in the top ten. Even Gus Poyet was in there :lol:

Unless he get's injured, he will get another goal. Hope he breaks the record and especially at such a young age.
