Alright so my big bro just got a brand spanking new laptop and he is giving me his old PC.This is great news for me but the only problem is that the PC has been through so much that it runs like a Windows95 but it is equipped with WindowsXP.I wanted to know if there was some kind of program on the PC or that is downloadable so that I can completely restore my PC and start it like new.Does anyone know anything that would help?
PS:I get my new/old PC tomorrow!

Do you have the Windows XP CD?
If you do, you can format (erase everything) the hard-drive and do a clean new installation.
Be cautious though, formatting can not be reverted.
So you have to make sure you have everything you need,
Bootable Windows XP CD (Full Version, not the Upgrade)
Windows XP Product Key Code
Motherboard CD Driver Installation files (you'll need to run this after you install Windows XP)
You need to have the Windows XP key, because if you do.. The rest can be downloaded.
If you want to do this, tell me and I'll give you the steps :)

Try to upgrade your pc with latest available specification.Increase the hard disk capacity and concentrate on processor and ram.
