Japan should qualify from there group and with a bit of momentum, they should do well, but with it beaing held in Canada, it may get a bit cold for them, so they may struggle against some of the Northern Hemisphere teams

i take it back,
i always thought Canada was very cold......
Whats the prospect of Canada having a full World Cup tournement on the go, or maybe if US did, would they host a a few games there in Toronto and maybe Vancouver?

Them cities hosting the event, what are the stadiums like?
I suppose for Under 20s you won't get too much travelling support so i guess smallish stadia?
But from what i understand, normally when a country hosts an aged group tournement, such as u20, or u17, its normal testing them for bigger events in the future.......so whats next progression Gold Cup, then Confed Cup, World Cup??

Hot weather in July, bigger stadiums (twice the capacities) than those used in the last WYC in the Netherlands).

Korea will qualify (pass the group stage) along with Brazil.
Japan will qualify)pass the group stage) because they are in the easiest group.
North Korean won't pass the group stage becaue they are in the hardest group.
Iran? You tell me.

S Korea group
S Korea vs Brazil : 1-3
S Korea vs Poland : 2-0
S Korea vs USA : 1-0
Korea out with Brazil to next round
N Korea Group
N Korea vs Argentina 3-5 (surprise N korea win 1st half)
N Korea vs Czech 2-2
N Korea vs Panama 3-1
North K makes it out with 4 points
Jordan - I don't know the team... never watched a single Jordan game so can't comment
Japan
Japan vs Costa Rica 0-2
Japan vs Nigeria 1-4
Japan vs Scotland 1-2
I don't think this is an easy group at all. Japan will not progress.
Let's see who is the best predictor

Japan beat the heavily favoured scots in what i believe was a one sided game. Only Scotlands keper kept them in the game fo rmost of it!

I watched the game Korea vs Brasil. Me and my brother were sitting in the brasilian section and were provocating the brasilian fans, but they were bunch of pussies and didnt do anything. Anyways it was a great game, I was really hyped up when Korea scored 2 goals in 5mins. U guys almost scored the equalisier but unfortunately the goalkeeper saved it. I really enjoyed that game especially in the last 10 mins when Korea were attacking. "GO KOREA"

tok i am proud of your team. i watched the game against the little ticos and it was a boring game but effective for you guys. no i don't feel like an idiot, you guys are in a much easier group than group D. everyone is saying group D is group of death. anyhow congratulations. no need to rub salt on wounds eh?

Anyone care to predict the Group D games today?
It's going to be a very interesting finish.
My best case scenario (aka guess as to what will happen):
I think USA will lose to Brazil but Korea will beat Poland.
In this scenario, USA and Korea would be tied and USA would advance on goal differential as the #2 team after Brazil.

don't forget some 3rd place teams advance to the next round. i actually hope korea advances 3rd as they can avoid argentina in the next round.

i actually predict that usa will beat brazil. brazil just plays cheap from what i see. one of their players got a 4 match ban for elbowing a korean player during thegame. the ref at the time didn't catch it but it was on the highlight videos . brazil hasn't impressed me at all this tourny aside from their impressive acting skills.
