I don't know much about the current team of Korea, but I see a draw as the most possible result of this one.

NO I just don't like your opinion! Anyone else who doesn't troll the Greek forum can post here! It is a fact that you think that EVERY NT will beat Greece(Maybe your STILL LIVING 2004?)!
Opposing view posts would be fine! If those posts where made by a unbiased poster something that you have a track record for being the opposite of! Why don't you just leave us alone and go cyberperv on the "female" posters in the Away from soccer forum! You seem to be better at that than predicting Greece's matches!

Guys you have to be happy when Benfica predicts against Greece, because every time he did that we won. Look what happened in all the qualifier games. He is a jinx, so we have to be happy every time he predicts against us. If he ever predicts for Greece, we'll have to worry.

1-0 for Korea final score. I was satisfied from our performance regarding the traffic of the ball, but Otto needs to make the system more attacking - the ball was reaching the attack with difficulty. Let's hope that Otto realises this for the game with Turkey, as the result of this one did not matter at all.
Did you saw Gekas' shot when the Korean goalkeeper saved with the head ?

how many of our young guys did we use? I assume this wasn't the sqaud the Greece has been using in our qualifiers? Also how well did we play? Did the Koreans use any youger players or thier main squad?

No, Rehagel used thereabout the same squad with the qualifiers. The participation of Anatolakis was probably the only change.... Rehagel have have watched the youngsters Balafas and Ninis playing in the Superleague and he said he likes them, but probably he don't considers them ready to play in the national team.
Don't ask me about the Koreans, I don't know any of their players besides Park :D.

Congrats to South Korea on the 1-0 win. Greece had chances to score a goal. Gekas had a shot that bounced off the goalie's head and Giannakopoulos had a post. But Greece attacked a little more than expected. South Korea played well with their aggressive style.

What Rehhagel said after the game:

and Nini was even hitet with a bottle in the head, and was attacked racially even by the olympiacos coach! these greeks fans were not only against nini but also kone, it was pure racism! and boy we know the reason why  and you proclaimed like you liked him, and a "greek"
i just hope Nini finally will be aware of what he did!

The object dropping is something that happens in all the important games of the Greek Superleague. No matter if Greeks, Albanians, Bulgarians, Romanians, Ivorians, Ethiopians or whatever are on the field.
I remind you that this thread is about the Korea-Greece friendly, if you want to comment on the incident you exaggerated, you already have a thread in your own forum. :yell:

In any soccer country, if the player is not from that country and is playing on the field, then he will get racially slurred from the hooligans. Turkish players and FYROM players get heckled in Greece, as do African, Russian, Spanish, Brazilian and former Yugoslav players. Heck, even Serbs at times get heckled from the Greek hooligans in the Greek league.
Albanians always like to single themselves out as the only ones who get racially slurred. Greeks would get racially slurred if they were playing in Albanian league. Greeks have gotten heckled in other leagues and you dont see us Greeks calling that country's fans rascists. Rascism cant always be an excuse and a copout for everything.

• Stelios bemoans Greek travesty
Stelios Giannakopoulos believes Greece were unlucky to slip to a narrow 1-0 defeat against South Korea at Craven Cottage tonight.
A stunning free-kick from Lee Chun-Soo 12 minutes from time handed the Koreans victory on their first ever appearance on English soil, but the Greeks had more than their fair share of chances in an entertaining encounter on a freezing west London night.
And despite claiming that the result was less important than the performance, Giannakopoulos will feel particularly aggrieved by the outcome after he hit the bar with a header and had a potential equaliser ruled out for offside after coming on as a second-half substitute.
'I think we deserved the victory tonight - we played really well,' the Bolton midfielder told PA Sport.
'Of course the result is not what we wanted, but I think that with performances like that we have nothing to fear.
'Korea were a very good, technical team - strong and fast. They showed good ability on the ball and were good defensively, but I think we deserved at least a draw.'
Greece dominated the match for large spells and enjoyed the upper hand for the better part of 40 first-half minutes as their opponents struggled to get a foothold in the game.
Their performance in that opening spell will come as a timely boost to the Greeks, who face a crucial Euro 2008 qualifier against fellow Group C leaders Turkey next month - with both teams boasting unbeaten campaigns to date.
'Now we look forward to playing Turkey at home,' added Giannakopoulos. 'It's a massive game for us; it's a must-win game for us. I think if we perform like we did tonight, we have nothing to fear.
'Whoever wins the game will take a big step forward towards qualification.
'In general I'm pleased with the whole performance tonight, and of course I'm pleased with myself as well.
'If we play that like against Turkey, they have no chance.'

I agree with most of what Stelios Giannakopoulos said. Greece played very attacking and nice football and I was very proud of the Greek NT even though we lost. Greece played an exciting game and never stopped attacking. We were very unclucky not to get at least a goal but I guess that's part of the game. Howevor we do not desearve a win or even a draw. The Koreans earned their victory fair and square since we couldn't finish any of our chances, but I agree with Stelios on that if we play like this against Turkey, Greece will shurley win.

I agree also, i watched the highlights and could not believe the chances Greece missed, its unforgivable, and they paid for it with a loss. How did Gekas manage to hit the keepers head??? Honestly that was a joke, Stelios was unlucky hitting the bar, but some chances really annoy me, Charasteas at the end should of put that away.
I dont know what to say, its only a friendly but they have to find the back of the net. S.Korea did and thats all that matters.
Need to score against Turkey, thats the one that matters.
