Help!!!

Ok the button to turn in my computer is kind of broken, and today i tried pushing it to turn on my computer but it wouldn't turn on.

So i decided to open up my computer. And i noticed that the button didn't reach the other 2 buttons inside my computer.

So is there any other way to turn on the computer??? maybe a code i type in on the keyboard??

What did you do that it doesn't reach? Is it really broken?


If so, you can turn it on with a pencil, maybe. Try both buttons, one of them is probably the restart and the ther one is the power button.

This sometimes happens when you spill a drink on your computer, and the button gets jammed. Try cleaning it with some alcohol

If the button is really not fixable, you can take the inside buttons out (if the wire is long enough) and than you can just use those button to turn on the computer. If not, you can go to a local computer fixing store and ask them for a replacement button. They might have one

^^^ Well the 2 buttons im talking about is not outside the computer its inside, and the button thats broken(the outside one) can only reach one of the buttons inside the computer and not the second one. so what i did is just push in the second button and made it get stuck in there.

So now it has kind of fixed the problem.

I think you should kick the computer see what happens...if that doesint solve your button problem then shove a pencil in there like bosanac said....or you can buy another CASE! DUH!
