I think you'll find that there's no Scottish cup this year. No siree, nothing, nada, zip. I'm pretty sure it got cancelled.
I can't say I've seen anything about it anywhere. Nothing whatsoever about any cup holders losing out in the last minute and getiing knocked out by the team bottom of the SPL.
Honest......... ;) :D

Unfortunately I have to agree. The only other decent team left is Hibs and we all know what their record is like in the Scottish cup. They'd probably knock Celtic out in the semis with a stunning 4-0 win at Hampden.
And then lose to Queen Of The South in the final.......;) :D
As my mate puts it "The last time Hibs won the Scottish Cup, Buffalo Bill was in Edinburgh. The next time they win it, Buck Rogers will be in Edinburgh.....";) :D

Inverness-Celtic (Tomorrow) MON THE CALEY :D :D :D
Motherwell-St Johnstone (Wednesday) Should be a good game
Good luck to all the teams still to play (Except Celtic:D :D :D)

caley 1-2 sellick
not much to say. typical celtic match. outplayed for the entire match. 1-0 down with a minute to go. 2 jammy goals to steal victory. typical. For anyone who has only saw Celtic in the CL, This happens in the league Every week.
Examples:
Celtic 2-1 Hearts- Celtic Played at home against a weak hearts side went 1-0 down. Then on 89 Mins Jarosik scores to make it 1-1 each. Okay, but then hearts goal keeper throws the ball into his own net in the 94 min.
Celtic 2-2 Dundee united- Dundee united go 2-0 up in the first half. then celtic score two goals in the last 10 mins.
Celtic 1-0 Hibs- Hibs had nine chances Celtic had one, celtic scored that one.
Hibs 2-2 Celtic- Hibs take a two nil lead then celtic score two in the last 10 mins.
Inverness 1-2 Celtic- Not the cup game but another one Celtic go 1-0 up, Fair enough then Caley score then celtic rub it in by Scoring in the very last kick of the ball....
I could go on and on.

Celtic won 2-1 against St Johnstone and Hibs and Dunfermline drew 0-0 so there will be a replay.
This is the final
Celtic vs Dunfermline/Hibs
I think that hibs will beat Dunfermline.
What do yous think for the replay and the final

Congrats to Dunfermline for getting a UEFA Cup spot

Yeah its good news for Dunfermline, but bad news for Scotland's coefficient because I would rather of seen hibs who might have gone to the group stages or beyond in the UEFA cup than Dunfermline who i don't think will get past the first round

Dunfermline 0-1 Celtic
Celtic secured the double after a edgy victory over relegated Dunfermline. The match started off with Dunfermline playing the better football making chances but not taking them this continued until around 65 minutes when Celtic started to pick up the pace with chances from Craig Beattie and Kenny miller. Then the brake through came after 84 minutes when a deflected ball into the box was put in the net by Jean-Joel Perrier Doumbe. Celtic seemed to rest on the ball after that and secured a scottish cup victory, that I think if a better class team were playing in the final celtic might not have won....but i am a rangers fan after all

Phew - easy game for Gers...I think East Stirling will be gaining a few more than their 190 fans who watch them every week :D
Tie of the round is: Hearts v Motherwell

^^ yeah - it would be nice as the Scottish Cup is not as used to shocks as the English equivalent. Things might change after the new format this year that allows in more minnows and clubs who aren't full members of the SFA. Shocks do happen though and some memorable results include:
1938 East Fife 4-2 Kilmarnock - second division Fifers shock Killie to win trophy
1967 Berwick Rangers 1-0 Rangers - let's not talk about this one....
2000 Celtic 1-3 Inverness CT - back when Caley Thistle were in the second tier of football and led to the great headline "Super Caley Go Ballistic Celtic Are Atrocious" :D
2006 Clyde 2-1 Celtic - Roy Keane's was given a tough debut at Broadwood
Celtic have been the most successful club in the competition with 34 wins, Rangers have 31, while Queens Park have 10 and Hearts and Aberdeen have claimed 7 victories each.

How the Celtics doing?, being iam a Celtic fan. I havent followed for abit therefore Iam asking. Wrong choice of team buddy!!!
Anyway Celtic are 7 points behind the fanatstic Rangers in the league :D They went out of the CIS cup to Hearts and out of the Scottish cup to Aberdeen. In europe they got to the last 16 of the CL and were beaten by Barcelona. You should follow Rangers because we can win 4 throphies this season unlike some teams
