Mexican Fantasy League

I was thinking that this will be a cool thing to do.

The thing i didnt like about the other fantasy league(besides having poor management) is that i really couldnt relate to it, since it was mostly european.

So i think it would be cool to make a fantasy specifically for the Mexican League.

I would start planning it out, and if its a "fracaso" like the other one, oh well atleast i tried.

The format i was thinking is like this........... Xizor, Calif, me, dannymex, mawin. are the most active that come to my mind right now, so that's 5

So i was thinking to have 2 groups. each group with 4 teams. for a total of 8 teams. and since we have 5 very active members i think we could find 3 more to use up those slots. if not we can probably find atleast 1 more, ill take another team and someone else might also want to get another team.

So by the end of the of the season the top 2 of each group advance to the liguilla. and in the liguilla the 4 teams are put into another group and the one who finishes with the most points is the champion.

Oh and we will also do some sort of a draft, and i havent yet figures out how to figure out how much the players will be worth, i think ill just go by much mediotiempo.com's prices.



Its still not planned out completly, i still have to think of a way to do scoring and stuff. I liked how they did it at the other fantasy league were they made teams "play" against each other. So i think thats how i want to do that. but i just have to come up with a way to do the scoring.

BTW, this is how Mediotiempo.com does their scoring it seems like a good option to go by, somethings ill add is like adding a "pase para gol" a pase para gol could count for like 2 points.

And also another thing i will change is if someone makes a goal outside of the penalty area, it should be worth more then a goal inside the penalty area.

General
- Equipo que golea (3 goles de diferencia) 5 puntos para cada jugador
- Equipo que es goleado (3 goles de diferencia) -5 puntos para cada jugador
- Jugador que inicia un partido: 2 puntos
- Jugador que entra de cambio: 1 punto
- Jugador que no alinea: 0 puntos
- Partido ganado: 3 puntos
- Partido empatado: 1 punto
- Partido perdido: 0 puntos
- Tarjeta amarilla: -1 punto
- Tarjeta roja: -3 puntos
- Autogol: -3 puntos
- Penal fallado: -3 puntos
- Partido Suspendido: 0 puntos
Entrenadores
- Ganar de local: 4 puntos
- Empate de local: 2 punto
- Derrota de local: -2 punto
- Ganar de visitante: 5 puntos
- Empatar de visitante: 3 puntos
- Derrota de visitante: -1 puntos
- Expulsión al DT: -4 puntos
Porteros
- Gol dentro del area: 6 puntos (por cada gol anotado)
- Gol fuera del area: 7 puntos (por cada gol anotado)
- Gol a favor: 1 punto (por cada gol)
- Gol recibido: -1 punto (por cada gol recibido)
- No recibir gol: 3 puntos
- Penal atajado: 3 puntos
Defensas
- Gol dentro del area: 4 puntos (por cada gol anotado)
- Gol fuera del area 5: puntos (por cada gol anotado)
- Gol a favor: 1 punto (por cada gol a favor)
- Gol recibido: -1 punto (por cada gol recibido)
- No recibir gol: 2 puntos
Medios
- Gol fuera del area: 4 puntos (por cada gol anotado)
- Gol dentro del area: 3 puntos (por cada gol anotado)

- Gol dentro del area: 2 puntos (por cada gol anotado)

ok we got five, and with calif we got six. so we got 6 teams, hopefully we can get some other two more.

BTW i was thinking maybe to drop the fuera/dentro del area gol. it would be kind of hard to keep track of, what do you guys think??

I'm about 10% done with figuring the prices of players. I'll keep on working on it tomorrow, im about go leave and go watch the interliga games.

I'll try to get this done by saturday with the most players i can. What's dif***ult is that sites havent updated the rosters yet. Mediotiempo.com is the most updated but not quiet yet. So even though if im done i might not have all the players. But most of them should be included.

And like i was saying hopefully i can get this done by Sunday the 7th. Then I'll see if we can start the draft Tuesday the 9th. and try to be done with it by Sunday the 13.

And will have a week to think about the line-up since the Clausura 2007 starts on the 20th.

It wont have all of the players in the mexican league, but it will list all the important ones. There atleast 15 players on each team listed. So the reserves are not listed, just mostly the starting 11 and bench players

Ok im almost done, i only got 3 teams left. i might not be able to get them done tomorrow, since i might work tomorrow. but i will be done by sunday.

OK so if you participated in the SFN fantasy league this summer. You might remember that each team could "score" a maximum of 4 points.

So here will be kind of similar. When two teams face each other there will be a total of 4 goals you could score. Here are the was you could score.....

1st: Overall points- The team who gets the most total points gets 1 goal.

2nd: Coach: The team whose coach gets the most points gets 1 goal.

3rd: Defense: The team whose defense gets the most points gets 1 goal.

4th: Offense The team whose offense gets the most points gets 1 goal.


Bonus Goal:If your players score atleast 5 goals in that jornada you will get 1 goal.

Bonus Goal: If none of your defender's team gets scored on you will get 1 goal.

Draft Rules:
In the draft you have to pick 18 players. Everyone will get 1 pick and then have to wait until its their turn again. You will get 85,000,000 to spend(players' prices range from 2,000,000 to 7,000,000).

You will also have to pick a coach, and you will be able to pick the coach during the same time we're doing the draft.

Well I think we should start it next week, when everybody starts coming back to SFN! Calif hasn't been active for a while now, we should wait until he comes back as well!

No not next week, it will only give us like a week to do the draft, and some people might take too long to show up and pick who they want.

Maybe we shoud start the draft the day i said earlier, this Tuesday.
