Nice player, missed at Anderlecht

well i am glad he is in Reading now where he is having a big impact simply because the coaching staff trust him more and let him do his thing. I think at Anderlecht they didn't really trust his abilities and didn't give him enough independence and playing time. Now that he has been set free he is realizing his true potential.

I'm also a Seol. My family name is Seol. Seol Ki Hyeon is related to me. We have the same ancestor. I'm proud of him. Although Seol famly is a small if compared to Lee, Kim or Park, we do have a talent like Ki Hyeon who is doing well in Europe. Thank you everybody for supporting him.

well he is definitely my favorite NT player at the moment. I hope he continues to rock at Reading! I look forward to discussing his EPL matches with you.

BTW where do you watch them? They are rarely on Setanta sports.

judicatormd
06-20-2007, 03:07 PM
ya he had some surgery to knee. in the asian cup there will be no EPL players playing for korea... Lee Dong Gook is on the squad list but he also has knee injury... the asian cup team will be a pretty young team made from mostly K league players.

SiN
06-20-2007, 11:47 PM
damn knee injury is pretty bad, it will take a long time to recover!

Well I think hes staying in Reading for 2007-08 season because it's been a while since I heard any news about that rumour and he played for Reading's game against West Ham 2 or 3? days ago.

Seol Ki Hyeon played great game against Man City. It was a great game period with 3:3 draw. Every time Fulham scored, Man City came back with better goals. I was rooting for Man City until they took Elano out and Fulham subbed in Seol. Seol made a couple of good moves out on the left wing and even made a key defensive stop like a left back. But his best moment was when he batted down a long kick from the goalie and dropped it right in front of the goal to set up the tying goal.

I was never a big fan of Advocaat or Verbeek but they did improve the quality of aerial attack for Korean players which suits well for EPL. I was never a big fan of Fulham either. With McBride, Dempsey and Bocanegra, they look more like a MLS team than a EPL team. Maybe Seol can change that.

that was some nice play by seol. i think his time at reading improved his play as he now defends quite a lot as well.

since this guy moved to fulham the guy sucks, is too slow, and is now benched 90% of the time

03-10-2008, 03:55 AM
yea he was readings best player scary isnt it? he's one of the better players on the national team too...SCARIER!!!

judicatormd
03-12-2008, 02:29 AM
well for reading, he was one of the best players only for 1/2 the season. then he had this mysterious toe injury and he hasn't been the same since. he needs to work on his fitness if he is to see regular team action. i think him moving to fulham was a HUGE mistake.

anyanglg
08-16-2008, 02:30 AM
Fullham?! it should be more like FOOLham. Anyway a toe injury, a bad manager, and an even worse team is a bad equation for Seol. He needs to go to Holland.
