Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors Football Club (also Jeonbuk FC are a professional football club based in Jeonju, Jeonbuk, Korea. They are current holders of the AFC Champions League title (won in 3-2 aggregate win against Al-Karama on November 8, 2006), the first club from East Asia to achieve it since the AFC Champions League was launched in its current format in 2003. This title guarantees Jeonbuk partecipation to the FIFA Club World Cup in December 2006.

Jeonbuk's best domestic performances have often been reserved for the Korean FA Cup and they remain the only club to have won the competition on more than one occasion (2000, 2003, 2005). The club's color is green that is also the color of Jeonbuk Province. Jeonbuk have been playing at Jeonju Worldcup Stadium (nickname-Jeonju castle) since 2002, capacity 42,477, in the city of Jeonju.

the funny thing is they suck and even I don't know much about them. They have only 1 player who plays for the Korean NT.

Well next game is 15 Dec 06 19:20 Korea Standard time against Auckland FC (A New Zealand team) should be good. I predict that Jeonbuk will beat them 3-1 as New Zealand football is not really developed.

yeah after watching the jeonbuk vs new zealand auckland game i realized how far behind new zealand is. in fact blatter got criticized before for wanting non professional teams like new zealand teams barred from the club cup competition
