is he still with real betis or what ? they got relegated so i thought maybe he might have moved on somewhere else.

are you talking about the samba dancer chino ? oh, last time i heard he was in the spanish 2nd division with betis, and i guess he busted. he was full of hot air.

anyway, last time i watched him was in the final in 98 and he made himself look like a complete fool - dancing and flopping around all over the pitch. what a joke !

He was so pathethic - always trying to do one more dribble or flashy stunt, and failing - that Flamengo returned him to Betis on January 2001, to escape from paying him his absurd fees; he was on the bench by then. :boo:
His image was, shall we say, tarnished, and Betis must be looking for some sucker to take him away; the problem is, Betis bought him for a whoppin' $21 mil, and guess who's willing to pay the same price now? That's right, not even the wizard of Oz. I'm betting he gets loaned somewhere else next July...:D
