The biggest achievement of the club in the Champions League came in 1998-1999, when in their second appearance reached the quarter-finals where they faced Juventus. Although Olympiacos is not one of the leaders in the league we have some things that we are proud of.

One of them and the most important is the home record that Olympiacos achieved, being undefeated in Athens for their first 4 years in CL when Manchester United was the first team to beat Olympiacos at home. Since then Olympiacos is famous for being one of the strongest home-teams in Europe. The matches of this period are:
