PS3 released in the US

As you all should know by now the Playstation 3 has finally made its release in the US. The people down there really seem to be deperate for the PS3 since I heared in the news that people are waiting in lines outside of stores. But with all that said I want to ask you guys something.

Do you think the PS3 will bring anything more special to the plate then what the Xbox 360 didnt?

Do you believe the PS3 will make the dream game you have been waiting for?

Which game are you looking foward to the most?


I think the PS3 is the same thing as the 360. The only reason I would get my friends down in the US to send it to me here in Sarajevo is because of that Killzone 2 game (Big Killzone fan here).

PS3 is no way the same thing as the Xbox 360. Its been proven over millions of time how much more powerful and better graphics the PS3 can handle. I dont recommend buying it right away though. The Game makers have not yet been able to make games worthy of the PS3 Capacity. That will take a year or so. Also when u buy something a couple months later, usually by that time sony will have fixed the bugs and added other stuff to the PS3.

I love my sport games and the more realistic the better.

^^ So far I checked some top game sites and all sites say the games (Despite the grahics) arent impressing. A very slow start for the PS3. Nothing special getting my attention for now...... Except Killzone 2.

Yeah I think there is no machine that can have any better graphics then XBOX 360's graphics. Except one thing.....TV.

:lol: This is crazy!!!! A Clerk from this store got shot because some guy stole some PS3 or something!!!!There was this huge fight in this Store a lot of people got arrested and stuff!!!!

Locally I went to Circuit City Wednesday night and People were already camping out by the store!!!!! People spent the night outside of the store just to get a PS3 that's Crazy!!!!

Well they can say it but guess what? Every pic I saw of PS3's next generation game has the same exact graphics as the 360. Well thats just me.

A good time to get the PS3 would be in 2007. Because they probably don't even know about all the glitches yet. I think its also retarded that people are so desperate for it now. Ive seen a few sell on ebay for over $3000....

PS3 sucks!! I can't stand Sony. I had the PS1 and didn't really think much of it. A friend of mine gave me a PS2 but was nowhere near as good as the Xbox and I dobt I'll bother with the PS3. The 360's far superior! Maybe if they come down to £100 a might buy one but that's not likely to happen. PS3 is just an overpriced piece of junk! ;)

Wat r u crazy, PS1 was great during its time. Especially tony hawk pro skater 1. PS2 is also the best console out there, ofcourse the graphics were a bit lower than the Xbox but look how many years later the Xbox came out after the PS2. The 360 in no way even matches up with the PS3 graphics and capabilities. PS3 has so much more than the 360, Microsoft is now releasing add-ons to the 360 which if u buy will equal the cost of the PS3. Wait till a year or year and a half when the game makers will actually be able to make games worthy of the PS3.

The PS1 was good for its time as there were few Consoles around that could stand up to it. PS2 was rubbish IMO. I have one but never really liked it and the only game I rated hightly on the PS was Gran Turismo! I'm not really a arcade game person though and hate Japanese graphics so this is probably why I don't like the PS ;)

The Xbox was the first decent console I've ever owned and despite a couple of games that are looking good on the PS3 there's not a lot to convince me its any better than the 360. Sure there are addons for the 360 but none you need. I won't be getting any as my 360 is fine as it is. The PS3 is a lot more expensive than the 360 and I thought the 360 was expensive so there's no way I'll be wasting any cash on the PS3!

The PC is still my main machine so maybe i'm just not a console Junkie :lol:

its on the rise really quickly, its the #2 console now behind the Wii in sales.

Since the Blu-ray defeated HD-DVD, PS3 is victorious over XBOX 360s. Haha and all u people who bought HD-dvd add-ons for the xbox are gonna prbly have to buy blu-ray add-ons too.

Ps3 is awesome, ive had it for awhile now and im so glad i also have a HD TV to play it on because without the HD cable the graphics look just like a PS2.
