I would have to list a few.
Destruction Derby II.
Call of Duty
Moonstone
Speedball
GTA San Andreas
Silent Hill
There are probably a few more, but these are the ones that sprung to mind straight away.
Awesome games, all of them :)

OMG Moonstone ... that was an AMAZING game! Had forgotten all about that!! That Dragon was tough though!! ;)
So many to choose from I don't know if I can pick.
The old Champ Manager games which are now Football Manager would be up there. I'm currently playing FM2007 which is great since it introduced feeder clubs. I can actually send my players to feeder clubs on loan now and bring in players that can't gain a workpermit in the Prem and send them off to a feeder club in a country that doesn't require a work permit until they get dual nationality.
Call of Duty 2, Condemned, Oblivion and The Godfather (like GTA in the 40's lol) would be my favourite 360 games.
Total War on the PC I think for Wargames. I've had all of them and am now playing Medieval 2 Total War. Also Europa Universalis 2 and Crusader Kings.
For RPG's it would be the Elder Scrolls collection. Daggerfall was the first I played and then Morrowind and Oblivion. I loved Neverwinter Nights and have just got Neverwinter Nights 2. Baldur's gate is also up there of course and my first RPG .... Bards Tale (the 80's one not the Xbox one).

Not forgetting just not my favourites of all time. I loved Warcraft II but wasn't keen on III.
As for Starcraft I loved the marines missions but didn't like the alien ones. Just as I was getting into the Marine campaign I was forced to become an alien!

Did anyone play the old 2D footie games like Kickoff, Sensible Soccer and Goal? I hated those sort of games but when the Fifa games came out I quickly changed my mind. Can't remember the earliest fifa game I played but the players had square heads

nah the protoss were my favourite then the Terrians but i really didnt like to play with the zerg either
to me starcraft will always be the best strategy game of all time becuase of two things
1) all three of the different forces was evenly matched. none of them had any distinguishing feature that allowed them to be better than the other
and
2) no matter how far u reached along the tech ladder the primary units like the marines and little zerglins was still very useful, if u know how to use them that is. no unit ever became obsolute or useless

I was useless at them. I think I only ever won one game and the friend who I beat had to go live in another country where they didn't know he'd lost to me!
I only got into these sorta games rather than Management games when I tried one of the early Fifa's! I got hooked pretty quickly and soon was better than the friends I was terrible against in the days of Kickoff. Sweet!
Still nothing is a patch on Football Manager ;)

Nah, as much as i like fm, its no where as close as actually playing the game. For me, i like both fifa and Winning Eleven and playing against a friend is so much fun.
FM is for just playin with urself while Fifa and Winning are for playing with ur friends and i enjoy the latter much much more.

Well you can play management games online as well yanno??
Fifa and such games are fun for a little while but a management game is much bigger and more involved which is why I prefer them. You can also manage more than one team at once. Try playing more than one team at once in FIFA
