The current staus of Czech players in Scotland is not so great at the moment.

Celtic's Jiri Jarosik appears to have left one team who have no domestic challengers (Chelsea) to another (Celtic). However with only 8 starts and 2 goals to his name, it appears there may be no room for him in a strong Celtic Midfield. With fans favourite Lennon in the holding role and Strachan recently trying out former Real Madrid midfielder Gravesen in an attacking role (one that netted the Dane a hat-trick), Jarosik may yet again have to watch his club win trophies without really taking part.

Meanwhile at Rangers, Libor Sionko is still to make his way back into the team after injuring himself at the start of October. His one goal, scored on his debut, is leaving many Rangers fans wondering if he is another one of Paul Le Guen's expensive flops.

Over at Tynecastle, the soap opera that is currently Heart of Midlothian football Club threatens to derail any chances for Hearts Czech strike pair of Roman Bednar and Michal Pospisil. Bednar has stated at the start of the season that he would score 25 goals. But with Heart's 3rd manager since the start of the season in a team that have made 85 changes, consistency is not easy. Niggling injuries to both have not helped, but Bednar and Pospisil seem to have dropped off the radar at present.

Scotland's only current Slovakian representative is faring no better with Filip Sebo failing to get an extended run in the Rangers team. Although many fans are enthusiastic about the 22 year old, Le Guen's inabality to discover his best team seems to hampering his starting appearances.
