The current form of Scotland's Polish footballers currently varies with Celtic's Artur Boruc and Maciej Zurawski almost certainly sealing their league title winning medal already. Borucs calm and assured presence in goal and Zurawski's entertaining midfield skills helping Celtic to a 13 point lead before Christmas. With the somewhat lack of quality opposition, it is an embarassment to Scottish domestic football that a league title has all but been decided by November.
However, on the other side of the country, Polands other presence between the sticks, Hibs' "Ziggy" Malkowski is under pressure after several high profile clangers, most noticeably gifting derby rivals Hearts 2 goals in their recent derby match.
To be honest, he's only one of a few Poles who have had a bad time in Scotland. Players such as Dariusz Dziekanowski, Dariusz Wdowczyk and Dariusz Adamczuk have all shown they can cut the mustard.
It seems only Hibs' goalkeeper is letting the side down in recent years.
