(Euro 2008 qualifiers)

After the triumph against Ireland, Cyprus made another very good performance today at GSP stadium and achieved to take the point from Germany. 1-1 is a very good result for Cyprus.

Ballack scored first for Germany in the 15th minute and Giannakis Okkas equalised in the 43th minute. Cyprus even had the change to win the game but they did not accomplish to make the score 2-1. Okkas scored once more in the 53th minute but the goal was cancelled as off-side.

I'm highly dissapointed... i thought Germany is going to owned this one esp since Germany scored first. But heck Germany is still at top of group D wid 10 points. Congratulations to Cyprus they played well esp in the second half!!

Does Kypros have a chance to be the 2nd Hellenic nation to win the EuroCup????? Or better yet a ALL HELLAS Finals in the EuroCup 2008??????

Be realistic :). Only qualifying for Euro 2008 will be an extremely great achievement for Kypros. Every comparison with Greece as a sport nation is almost impossible.

I am allowed that RIGHT? :DWell this is a good time to start dreaming about Cypriot football success becuase right now they are playing very good. Cyprus is a young team and if they don't qualify this time becuase of their bad start they can qualify next time. Right now I think Cyprus has a good chance of qualifying if they keep up their success :)

yeah cyprus going to sweep up the Euro 2008 no sweat and then clean up at the 2010 WC. Hail mighty Cyprus!
