Our manager Christoph Daum held a press conference at 14:00 at the Fenerbahçe Şükrü Saracoğlu stadium, and his comments where as follows;

At a national level, we've known how to reach our big ambitions. After a long season, we've won our championship and it's our second in a row now. When you look at our opponents and extra match load, it's been a harder season this time. Because we where the defending champions, our opponents viewed us differently. When you add G.Saray's centenary into the mix, you can see just how much harder it was in these circumstances.

There was extra pressure on us because of all the talk that we where so far ahead of our rivals and that they had no chance to be champions. Because of this, we couldn't play the football we wanted to at times. The expectations, as in that we'd be ahead of our rivals and we'd definitely be champions was a different atmosphere for some of our players. It's not easy to handle that situation.

So when you look at all these difficult circumstances, last seasons championship was an easier championship than this one. Last year we where a newly formed team and there was no pressure. And it was probably even a suprise to some that we won it. This time, some corners where expecting us to definitely be champions, and because of this it was a harder season. And like I said, sometimes this (negatively) affected us.

The 9 points we got in the Champions' League aren't points to be thrown out just like that. In some of our matches we put on a great performance, like the away match with Lyon. But to finish second in the group, you need some luck. In the away match at Lyon, that luck wasn't with us. There was also that bad defeat at Man Utd, that day Rooney took the stage and delivered for his side. But with the matches we won, we gave those watching something to smile about. We showed that we're capable of doing something in the European scene. But now we're in a position where we have to improve on this.

The Champions League match we won away to Sparta Prague was important, because we needed to finish third to get to the UEFA Cup. We knew how to win away in the Czech Republic. If you look at the results of other teams when they played in the Czech Republic, you see that it was an achievement for us to win.

For the UEFA Cup matches against Real Zaragoza, there was a whole difference atmosphere. I knew we where in for a hard time, but the thoughts of "how many will we thrash Zaragoza by" came out. It was hard for me to stop people thinking like that. I always respect our opponents. When you underestimate a team, it affects the atmosphere within the team as well. And when we got caught up in it all, we couldn't do what we wanted and got eliminated.

After losing in the UEFA Cup, it was hard to get ready for the second half of the league. Because of this, we couldn't get the results we'd have wanted in some matches, and we had a difficult time. It was hard to win the championship again as well, but we achieved it. Fenerbahçe's had achievements like this before, but they had bad periods immediately after it. To make sure we achieve all this again, and to reiterate our strength we need to pressure our footballers to make them think "we can do this again", and doing this will take time. But we've started this.

In the Cup semi-final my team played above themselves against Denizlispor. In the Cup final against G.Saray, we started well. We came out with an attacking game, but we couldn't capitalise on the positions we found. We pressed forward and made mistakes, and lost by a margin. We didn't deserve to lose like that, and we saw that in the last match. When we played a more tactically disciplined game, even if it was just 1-0 the important thing was to win. Anyway, after the Cup game, the G.Saray players where saying that even when they where 3-1 up they weren't sure of victory, and that it could get to 3-2 at any moment, but when they found the 4th goal they could relax.

After this game there was the Ankaraguce game, and our ears where listening to Istanbul. Even on the way to the game people where ringing us up. I wanted all phones to be shut off, but it didn't happen. In my opinion the penalty decision was a wrong one, but we'll respect it. Even after that though, there was a drop in our performance.

Winning the championship infront of our own fans was something else, it was much better. From Tuesday onwards, every player was waiting for that match. Before the game, everyone's thoughts where "we're going to win this one and celebrate the championship with our fans". We showed our slogan with our fans, "This is Kadikoy, there's no way out" to be true by winning the game. We might not have played attractive football in the G.Saray match but we played smart and played well tactically. Our intelligent performance got us the result that won us the championship.

In some of our games, we played very attacking football. We played attractive football. But when we didn't win, the criticisms came. Some where made up, but some where completely over the top. I didn't disagree with all, I agreed with some. I made criticisms of out tactical discipline, passing and off the ball movement to my players.

Mehmet Çatay, who organised a Fenerbahçe fanclub, showed me the statistics of this season and the records we've broken. Whoever wants these statistics can get them off him. I also encourage you to follow his club, as it's very successful. These statistics don't belong to him, our friends in the media could have also calculated them.

There's some journalists who's work is to get rid of me from here. I've been working in Turkey on and off for 10 years, and from what I gathered matches between F.Bahçe, G.Saray, Besiktas and Trabzon where derbies. But now they've taken Trabzon out of this, they're underestimating Trabzon and taking them out of the rivalry, and it's confused me. And now with these derby statistics, they're trying to get me sacked. I take my hat off to all of them..

There's not many teams across Europe who continued on from their championship. Valencia, milan, Arsenal, Anderlecht and Ajax couldn't win the title two years in a row. I could count more teams from across Europe, but there's just two who could achieve it. One is Olympique Lyonnais, and the other is Fenerbahçe.

Believe it or not, but us managers are always exchanging knowledge with eachother. I had a short meeting with Paul le Guen. He told me "no one from Fenerbahçe has spoken with me". It was obvious we spoke within trust of eachother. We spoke about Turkish football and about his future. Forget the offer, some of you even went as far as to say he signed. Le Guen had a press conference and said "no there's nothing like that", but he next day you all wrote "he's signed". So, whether it's TV or written media, there was news that was a weight on me. I was expecting people like Selçuk Yula to come out and say "enough already".

Some of the criticism of me grew that much that some supporters who where effected by it got aggressive enough to attack me. The media has reponsibility in this. After the death at the Besiktas game, everyone should know their responsibility. I said some news could make people aggressive, but it just passed by.

While all these criticism's went on, Fenerbahçe was having one of its most successful seasons. In the second half of the season, despite injuries and suspensions we continued to stay in the lead and won the championship. But despite this, I was still criticised. Although it must be said, I'm not throwing all journalists into the same hat, there are responsible one's too. My aim isn't to cry and get angry. I'm used to all the criticism. But sometimes it goes that far that it even affects my family as well. Otherwise, my aim wasn't to cry and get angry about it.

The campaign that started against me made our work harder. Our players read the news that comes out, and they get brainwashed. It could've brought about a "who cares, he's leaving" attitude. It was hard to keep them listening to me. But thankfully, my players are all responsible footballers and it wasn't much of a problem.

In this work, I'm going through the hardest times of my career. Bayern Munich is a big club and there's big expectations. They're heavily criticised, but Beckenbauer or a journalist always comes out and puts a stop to it. But here, everyone goes with the flow of it. Whoevers insulted by this can be insulted by it, because I'll say it anyway; "You couldn't stop me or Fenerbahçe, you didn't succeed".

Whether TV or written media, theres some people I can't work with now I think. Because they're not proper opinions, there's been criticism of my persona. I can't bother with people like that, if I did they'd turn out to be telling the truth. But if we're going to sit down and talk about my work, I'll do that with anyone. But their aim isn't to talk about that, it's other things. Football needs the media, and the media needs football, this should be known. We're here because of what we know and what we have.

I love Turkey and Fenerbahçe very much, and I want to stay. But because of some journalists, I know I can predict that while I continue to stay some things will continue without sympathy.

After everything I've explained, it's obvious why this was such an important and difficul championship. Maybe the most difficult in my career. I made this championship a gift to Mehmet Sabanci, who's no longer among us. He was my neighbour and a good friend. This championship is fo him, our supporters, our sponsors and to everyone who was excited the the championship.

There's also something I'd like to clarify. Aziz Yildirim made an announcement that since the day he started working until now, he's raised the budget from $13million to $100million. This budget is the whole clubs budget. But some journalists are saying that it's just for the football club's transfers. It's inaccurate and very wrong to say this is our transfer budget.

Hey SIN I thought this is Fenerbahce News thread? :D Did you confuse the threads?

News: UEFA said that if English FA decides to send Liverpool to Champions League instead of Everton as a 4th(only first 4 can go to CL), they will accept the offer but if not, Liverpool can not go to CL to defend the title next season and everybody knows that Everton is not gonna accept this. In this case, Fenerbahce is going to the CL directly without playing any eliminations games(as GS going to UEFA Cup SIN :D)

Özdemir: ``We`re aiming for Europe``
01.06.2005

Deputy President and Club Spokesman Nihat Özdemir said the club aims to continue its success with European achievements.

"The Turkish championship isn`t enough for our fans now. We think we have to play different football than now to be successful in Europe. We have to play with a different system and Daum agrees too."

Özdemir also revealed that the club has applied to play Nicolas Anelka as an EU national and exempting him from the foreigner rule. "This way we can make two foreign transfers," he said.

"I was disappointed to hear Pierre van Hooijdonk`s comments, but I still wish him the best for the future."

Alex taken out of Brazil squad
01.06.2005

Alex de Souza will miss the FIFA Confederations Cup as it will take three weeks to treat his groin strain.
Speaking to our website, Alex said: "I`m not thinking about the injury, instead we`re still celebrating the championship here with Fabio, Marcio and Marco."

Our top scorer this season has been taken out of the Brazil squad.

"Fabio brought one of the miniature cups that were given out on Sunday. I`m telling everyone here about the great experiences I`ve had in Turkey in my first season. I`m having a barbeque at my house in Coritiba this weekend. We`re still celebrating.

"I`d like to say hello to all the Fenerbahçe fans from here."

The best fener can do is qualify for uefa cup.its not as if their gonna get to the next round. at least gala will beat some decent teams(not just sparta and MU reserves) and they definatley wont be thrashed by a player playing his first game in over 3 months!(rooney)

unless fener do finally achieve decent results in europe this season, we can say good bye to our high coefficient

Ferdiaslan88, First of all Welcome to SFN.

The player that you are talking about is Rooney. If you knew football little bit you wouldnt talk like that about him. In England they worship that player even though there is so many famous players there. Please stop with your non-sense comments like that.

And that MANU reserves team beat Chelsea 3-0 couple weeks before Fenerbahce game.

As for the Feners past results, you are right! We didnt achieve anything in the past. We accepted that!

Also there is one funny thing going on in the Turkish forum. All Galatasaray fans are posting in Fenerbahce forums but I dont see them posting Galatasaray forums. Why is that? :D

I watch english league every week and although rooney is very good for his age, he is still not one of the top strikers in england or on Man U.He managed to score a hat trick on fener in his first match after breaking his foot.

also their are many fener supporters posting on gala forums as well but only to give opinions not to insult and i will try to do the same here as in gala forum. sorry if i made insult-not intentional.

im just saying fener will have to improve in CL so that turkey can hve more teams in europe

See that was better! Lets be constractive then insulting..

Anyway unfortunatly we do have to improve our performance in CL in order to send some more teams and also for(most importantly) TURKIYE!!!

I just wanted to say about Rooney that, personally I love his style and also I personaly think for his age he is the best striker in Priemier League. I dont appeiciate but as a footballer love that his football. Also I think most of the ppl in England loves him as i said before.

Then wed have a gala vs. Fener Super cup match! :ronaldo:

i say if gala can get through the first two rounds then they have a good chance of winning. They always struggle against the lesser teams.

As for Fener, i think if they can get to the knock outs they will maybe go all the way(like liverpool who struggled in group stage). but they will need to be lucky in the draw as their 4th seeds

According to www.transfermarkt.de ( a reliable source) our 19-man squad is worth 76,400,000 euros. This despite players like Serhat, Murat and PVh leaving the squad this season.

Besiktas: 85.900.000 Euro 31 players in squad
Fenerbahce: 76.400.000 Euro 19 players in squad
Galatasaray: 64.800.000 Euro 30 players in squad

It looks like we gonna past 120.000.000 Euro after the transfers... :D

Alex de Souza said he’s "charged up and ready" for pre-season training to begin as he spoke on his official website.

He stated: "I’m leaving Brazil on Wednesday and will start training on Friday.

"I did all I planned with my family, saw old friends and even had teeth surgery!"

The star added: "I scored 30 goals and made 26 assists last season and I want to show another good performance this season so I must prepare well.

"Our aims are to win the league again, the progress in the Champions League - or in the UEFA Cup afterwards and to win the Turkish Cup."

Hürriyet article not true

The article in Hürriyet newspaper claiming that Barcelona directors got angry with our club’s directors is not true.

The author Mehmet Çiftçi has been writing biased news about our club recently, showing foreign media as sources. This article is the latest example of these.

Directors Mahmut Uslu and Hakan Bilal Kutlualp were greeted by Barcelona President Juan Laporta and Sporting Director Beguiristain with respect and a very productive meeting was carried out.

It was decided that both sides needed time to consider suggestions on Rüştü Reçber’s situation.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
President: ”We’re ahead”

President Aziz Yıldırım said the club must think ahead due to being "in front due to financial growth", adding that our suggestion on TV rights money and request for EU status players is from a club that gives 60% of income to the state, in his latest column in Fenerbahçe magazine.

"Our transfers are a result of our way of thinking. We’ll only buy players that we need. Anyone who comes to Fenerbahçe will be a star player to us anyway," said Yıldırım.

The president also spoke on Joop Lensen taking over the Youth system at the club: "Everyone knows how good the Dutch are at youth development. We’re the first in Turkey to be doing this and I think it will also benefit the country."

Fener_05

Özdemir: ”We’re not part of the union”

Vice-president and Club Spokesman Nihat Ozdemir was a guess at FBTV(Fenerabhce TV)said the new plan by the Turkish Football Federation for the distribution of TV rights money "does not attack the four big clubs" as their opinions were not asked for in the Clubs Union meeting. "We were not invited the A-14(Anatolian Clubs) clubs took a decision without us. We don’t agree with the new plan and we’re not part of the union until conditions are changed," said Ozdemir on FBTV. He added: "We’ve started taking legal action against this decision. They’ve managed to get their own clubs’ income to rise whilst lowering ours." Özdemir also repeated that Emre Belozoglu is no longer on the club’s wish list and said news of new transfers will be broken here on the official website and on FBTV.

UEFA Champions League 05-06

After the UEFA CL draw in Monaco, Thursday 25 August at 16:00 CET, Fenerbahce has been drawn into group E.

That means, we know Fenerbahces opponents in the Group Stage of this years CL.

Group E
Milan
PSV
Schalke
Fenerbahce

To gather more information about this tournament, or to look into other groups head on over to uefa.com and check out the CL news.

SiN
08-26-2005, 03:45 AM
the group looks quite strong but i think FB has a good chance of making it through...Milan will be the hardest match to overcome...but if FB start playing like they really should they will be really powerful...they have the right players to compete in the CL

Bosanac
08-26-2005, 03:49 AM
It surely will be exciting.

Fenerbahces first game is against AC milan in Italy, Tuesday September 13 at 20:45. You could say it's the opening match of the tournament. It will be very hard, as I'm hearing it is already being called the 'group of death'. There's an upside and downside for this, if they start good they have a pretty good chance of qualifying because almost all teams are at the equal strenght, but if they don't start good they could be in for a big dissapoitment.

SiN
08-26-2005, 04:09 AM
yes this match will be the key for FB in determing if they have a chance...if they win this then there confedence will reach new levels...although this will bad for Gs, but i feel that FB can do it! GOOOO!

I think Fenerbahçe will get success in champions league . Of course the group is so difficult but this year Fener is more experienced and turkish players will give moe help to team ,in other words responsibility don't take on only the foreign players

Well, thats debatable. When Anelka scored the goal Konya were winning 2-1. That goal tied the game, and possibly changed the momentum of the game. Not only that, but the way a team plays if they are ahead is not the same as the way a team plays if they're tied. The later goals may be a result of this. I would agree with you that the goal did not matter if it was the fourth goal, but in this case I think it did change the outcome of the game.

Would it be worth giving up on the lig if we can have a good run in europe? if you look at the squad it gets very thin very quickly because the mad german has not built on what was here much since he came so being involved in two hard competions at the same time plus the national team using all the FENER players it can an injury, fatigue, or a loss of form would hurt us much more than it would GS

If Konya was playing the full 90 minutes they would've won. After Anelka scored (with hand/faul -whatever) they got scared and lost, unfortunately they didn't have any strenght to go on. On the other hand, Fenerbahce looked solid the last 15 minutes. Our fifteen minutes proved to be more effective then their mindless running for the rest of the game :)

Yes, but you have to understand the effect that a call like that goal can have on a team. It demoralizes you. I know when I'm playing a match and something like that happens, I just want to give up. It's like, no matter what you do, no matter how much better you play, you might lose because of unfairness.

Looks like Nobre will be leaving Fenerbahce at the break. Appearently he's not a Fenerbahce material anymore, and already being scouted by Fulham Utd. If this follows, Fenerbahce have some big transfer plans. We'll get Nihat for Nobres spot, that means we will still have one more place for a foreigner possibly a winger. In case that doesn't work out, Fenerbahce are putting cards on the alternative striker, Luis Fabiano. But if we get Nihat, we would transfer either Argentinian Killy Gonzalez or Frenchman Rotten. That is all still just a rumor, other than that I would like to mention that Aziz Yildirim will also try to transfer Halil and Hamit Altintop.

NOBRE GOING???

I would be sad to see him go, but I have often said that he would be great in the English Lig.
As a target man, the way he leads the line, & would run through a brick wall for the club, he has been great for FENER, its just a shame his goal rate is so low compaired to the amount of chances he gets.
But if he goes good luck to him.

Bosanac

the reason we're sending him is because he can't stay up to Anelka

I believe that, at this point, Tuncay is technically superior when compared to Nobre. Once Tuncay gets his form back, I believe Nobre will not have much chance in getting the first eleven. Although Nobre is very effective when it comes to headers, but with the likings of Anelka, Tuncay, Luciano and hopefully soon Servet, I believe he has become redundant, unfortunately. I really like his play style, and wish him the best of luck if he goes to the Premier League!

Fenerbahçemiz'in Brezilyalı futbolcusu Marco Aurelio, İstanbul'a geldi.. Aurelio'nun Türk vatandaşlığına geçmek için gerekli işlemler nedeniyle erken geldiği öğrenildi..Gana Milli Takımı ile birlikte Almanya'daki Dünya Futbol Şampiyonası'nda mücadele eden Appiah'ın dışında diğer yabancı futbolcuların önümüzdeki günlerde gelmeleri bekleniyor.

Aurelio'nun Türk vatandaşlığına geçmek için gerekli işlemler nedeniyle diğer futbolculardan erken geldiği öğrenildi.

Brezilyalı futbolcu, vatandaşlık başvurusunda bulunur ve başvurusu kabul edilirse milli takıma seçilerek resmi bir maçta forma giymesi halinde, futbol federasyonunun yabancı oyuncuların yerli statüsünde oynayabilmeleriyle ilgili yaptığı değişiklikle Türk statüsünde oynama hakkı elde edebilecek.

Fenerbahce played a friendly with Inegolspor, and won it 7-1. I could catch the game on FBTV. Goal scorers are, Semih (13'), Tuncay (31'), Deniz (35'), Aurelio (26', 40'), Tumer (66') and Yozgatli (85').

With Zicos transfer as the new manager, and Yildirim announcing that he's a candidate, I could say things are going back to normal but Zicos transfer could possibly completely change the style we play. It does give us some excitement for the Turkish Super League to get under-way.

No words on any other transfer yet, but I would say that even with no transfers we still have the best squad in Turkey.

Zico has said that he's working on creating two different 'ready to play anytime' starting elevens. The new system he created at Fenerbahce is slowly but surely agreeing with our players and with unexpected subs he made, he got valuable points in the past weeks that earned him the first place in the league. He said the players on the bench are going to be his best weapon in the upcoming busy match schedule.

Just to remind you of our difficult match schedule; after Sivasspor and Denizli matches we have following games coming up..

Besiktas @home; Matchday 14 TSL
Palermo @home; Matchday 3 Uefa Cup
Trabzonspor @home; Matchday 15 TSL
Celta Vigo @away; Matchday 4 Uefa Cup
Galatasaray @home; Matchday 16 TSL

It is a very difficult schedule indeed, 3 derbies one after the other (luckily they are home games) and 2 midweek Uefa Cup games. Hopefully we'll win every single one :)

Our legendary coach Christoph Daum has signed a 3.5 year long contract with FC Köln.

I wish him all the best with his new team.

It's not yet confirmed, but in all likelihood he is going to join the FC Köln. Obviously he said that he regret his decision from last Saturday, he weren't happy with his announcement. It seems it just needs the sign of the contract now.

Daum is pure class! In case he really signs with Köln (who play 2nd league this season) i swear half of the Bundesliga will be drop-dead jealous.

He seems to be weird to many people, maybe his look has to do with that, his wide opened eyes make him look a bit scary sometimes. But for god's sake - wherever he was salaried he was successful. Regarding Fenerbahçe again and again i hear this argument "two championships but he didn't lead us to international success" and again and again the only thing i can reply is: who else did?????? The international success is a development and we need to be patient for this, but there is no doubt that one day Fenerbahçe will be mentioned in the same breath with the biggest teams inb the world. Once my great Fenerbahçe teacher told me, if there was a war between all clubs in the world and Fenerbahçe would be on one side against all other teams, we would establish the Fenerbahçe Kingdom. And this is what i deeply believe in.

Daum did an awesome job and helped us to develop the establishment of this Kingdom.

Yes, he didnt bring us any internation success but thats cause he never trusted his bench. At least Zico did this, now we can change our lineup at anytime, we have more choice. PVH left cause he got into a fight with Daum. Plus any manager could have made Fener champions for the past 3 seasons, we have a team 100x better than any turkish team. And plus everytime i look at him, i just get reminded of a cocaine addict. He did good, i thank him for that and the times that he has made me happy but i still dont like him as a person.

Great post Bina.

Anyone who knows me knows that i am a huge Daum fan. Not only because of his football knowledge but for the character he is and for the way he managed to put up with our media for three years....that's a record for a Fenerbahce coach.

We all know vthat the toughest place to coach in the world is at Fenerbahce...nowhere else in the world will you get critisized as much as you are if you are a Fenerbahce coach.

No matter who you choose to play or no matter who you put on the bench you will always get critisized. Like this wasnt enough they will make up stories to hurt your image and reputation.

Even after two championship wins Daum didnt know anything about football...he was a "alman köylüsü"...a german hillbillie!

he didnt win the championships the teamn did...because any coach with this squad would EASILY win the Turkish league. And since 90% of all Fenerbahce fans are morons who have have little knowlegde of football they believe everything our media writes.

If the media critisizes daum for not using the bench you will see a dozen topics about this in antu the same day.

If they say that alex doesnt run....you see topics about that. Only a little minority has their own opinion about the team.

Like for months have i said that appiah sucks....on antu i was rediculed for saying this. Look at antu now...suddenly everyone agrees that appiah has sucked this season.

According to a antu poll last season 75% of the fans wanted Daum to leave.....now the majority is saying that we never should have sent him away.

This is how the majority of the fans work....they create their opinion according to the headlines in the newspapers that day.

For some reason (i know why though) the media has kept saying that Appiah was the best player after every single game this season....and because of that you couldnbt even say that he played bad in antu.

Daum put up with this crap for 3 whole years....and i still dont get how he managed to put up with it for so long. I would have left the same year i arrived....but this man made it his duty to fight against all this shit.

But without the slightest support from our fans it was inevitable that he would leave one day....

Alex'e yan bakana hayat yok

Frikik tartışması Ümit'i yedeğe itti

Kezman yerine 'Kanka' oynuyor

Alex'in takım üzerindeki etkisi akıllara gelince, Anelka'nın sözlerini de hatırlamadan geçemiyoruz. Fransız yıldız bir sohbetimizde "Bir takımda ikiden fazla Brezilyalı varsa, mutlaka Brezilya çetesi oluşur. Bunun örneklerini dünyanın her yerinde görebiliriz. Alex ve arkadaşları maç dışı bana karşı olumsuz değillerdi. Ama ne zaman sahaya çıksak, akılları birbirleri ile paslaşmakta ve gol attırmakta oluyordu" demişti.

Of course we all saw Alex behaving diva-like here and then lately, but don't you think the media takes this opportunity to make a big thing out of it and to now add fuel to the flames?? Fenerbahce has been accused of buying off teams trabzon and one other during the 00/01 season. This came out in a live talk on star tv. But to dismay of anti-feners the story broke down and became obvious that it was a lie. And Fenerbahce will be taking them to court for slander.

Bina

What a fuss. Last night a friend pmed me on MSN "did you hear, star tv, witnesses, blah blah…" I went to Antu which was crowded and temporarily broke down because of congestion. On XT cimboms already got their knives out "this would be a very big scandal…" . What a crap! The disconcertment became even bigger when suddenly this "witness" came up with a suitcase, pretended in there were the proves. WHAT PROVES???? He had NOTHING but recovered paper his mum gave him to dispose but instead of listening to his mum, he went and tried to bin this garbage can over Fenerbahçe. Big, big mistake…

I didn't even get upset about that claptrap. It was just too obvious what was going on there, what the intention of these sick morons were who started all that – just a few days before the 6S derby, no coincidence at all!!!!! It was too obvious, too poor, too cheap and it was nothing but one more incredible piece of impudence.

They keep throwing mud at Fenerbahçe and again they were taught that it makes no sense. Of course, knowingly what most people think - and what i saw even Fenerbahçe "fans" joined that behaviour – that after every rumour/gossip still a little bit of this rumour keeps sticking on the accused. So what? Fenerbahçe is used to these accusations and witch-hunt, it didn't happen for the first time and unfortunately it won't be the last time this happened.

These demented who started all this will be taken to court and they won't be happy again ever in their life. All my disdain to them!

wow....what a surprise....telegol with a new accusation. But this time they made it so amateurish that even a 2-year old wouldnt take it seriously.

The guy who is the source of the accusations had no proof whatsoever...people he accused were connceted to the show and denied the acusations.

But this time telegol went too far and they have probably dug their own grave. Startv will either be closed for a time, or the Telegol show will be closed for good and its staff either fined to their throtas or imprisoned.

The accusations are so stupid that i cant understand how they can be stupid enough to air it.

We are supposed to have paid samsun to lose to us and trabzon to beat gs.

After 30 minutes into the trabzon game gs was already leading with 3 goals... ....if somone bribed anyone it should be gs bribing trabsonspor who is known to be close friends.

In the samsun game ali akdeniz scored the first goal for samsun....hmm strange way to lose a game.

According to our board the guy who came with the accusations is only a puppet in this circus. The "big guys" behind this dude is said to be TFF officials.

Why....well let me explain it like this. Until now there has been thousands of accusations that clubs have bribed other clubs....there has been strong evidences that have supported this. When everyone were expecting investigations and punishments the TFF settled with an explaination from the accused clubs and losed the cases.

Now...just hours after Fenerbahce was accused the TFF started an investigation about this accusation. The TFF has never acted this fast before evn though there has been 10 times stronger cases.

So its becomeing cleared who is behind this freak show...

But most importantly Ahmet Cakar from ATV revealed this guy's true face. Months earlier this guy Cihan Oskay had contacted the ATV crew telling them that he had proof to eliminate Aziz Yildirim. He offered Ahmet Cakar to reveal the same stuff for 10,000 dolars and a couple of flight tickets to Amsterdam.

ATV turned down this guy's disgraceful offer because they knew that he was nothing but a frod. Kazim Kanat a member of the santra show said he had known this guy for a long time and that he is a frod.

Turkey is a football-mad country
29th November, 2006

In the La Voz de Vigo newspaper based in Spain, Fenerbahce player Mateja Kezman was quoted as saying "Turks live in football. It's more important than life for them." He continued on to comment on his families adaptability to their new home, and Fenerbahce fans have helped make it a smooth transition.

Since the beginning of the season, Fenerbahce has been going through its best form at the moment, "It relaxes us a little to know that we are on our best form before the Celta Vigo match. We're going to enter the field with only 3 points on our minds."

"I'm very happy at Fenerbahce, because i'm scoring goals and helping the team. This is the important thing." said the Serbian international. Kezman suffered through 2 injuries and 1 operation during his tenure at Athletico Madrid hampering his chances at catching good form.

Tomorrows match against Celta Vigo will be a battle for us claims Kezman, "We're going to convert as many chances as possible. Turkish fans are honestly very helpful to us as well. The atmosphere they expose in our home games is incredible. Even when we are away from home our fans are always there with us. This helps motivate us."

On another note, Kezman will be playing against a Spanish club for the first time since his departure from Athletico Madrid. "I enjoy Spanish football. something something, i don't know what Oc means ;)."

A Turkish businessman with ties to Fenerbahce has come forward with a shocking confession: that he personally attempted to fix matches for Fener chairman Aziz Yildirim. Retired businessman and restaurant owner Cihan Oskay made the allegations on a TV show called Telegol. According to Oskay, Yildirim asked him to offer Trabzonspor players a $250,000 bonus to win a match against Galatasaray in the 2000-2001 season. Oskay claims he made a secret trip to the Trabzonspor players' hotel to offer the bribe (Galatasaray later won the match anyway). Oskay also claims that at Yildirim's request, he bribed Samsunspor players to throw a match against Fener in the final week of the 2000-2001 season. “Fenerbahce was three points ahead of Galatasaray before the final week, and Yildirim wanted to secure the championship," Oskay said. Oskay claims he delivered $150,000 directly from Yildirim to Samsun coach Yucel Uyar in exchange for a promise the Samsun players would not play "hard" against the Canaries. Yildirim denied the allegations, calling Oskay's claims "ridiculous". Fenerbahce official Ali Koc went even further, accusing Oskay of various crimes including check fraud.
When asked why he is coming forward now, five years later, Oskay replied: "I want to serve Turkish football by preventing other match-fixing incidents. I am making no profit out of this and I am demanding nothing from Aziz Yıldırım."
The Turkish Football Federation has started an investigation, as has the Samsun Prosecutor's Office.

Even though GS won the TB game 4-0, hmm seems fishy to me. They have connections

And samsun scored on us first, so we were down 1-0. Great way to bribe someone right.

These are ridiculous accusations with no proof. They are just trying to affect our players before the european game and most importantly the GS-Fenerbahce derby.

They are accusing us of bribing samsun and trabzon in the last week of the 01/02 season so that samsun would lose to us and TB would beat GS.
giving money to one team to beat another is not match fixing but bribig your opponents to lose is

I was wondering how come top teams from Turkey get so many wins.

Didn't FB lose the championship in the last game last year??

Even though GS won the TB game 4-0, hmm seems fishy to me. They have connections
Yes it does. TB was pretty decent last year.

this is the 00/01 season. Not last season.

We won the championship 00/01 but lost it last year due to things out of our hands

(......) ’’İspanyol futbolunun seviyorum. Öç almak için sahaya çıkmayacağım’’ cevabını verdi.’’

"I enjoy Spanish football. something something, i don't know what Oc means ;)."
"Öç" means "revenge"... what does the sentence say now?

Top statement by Kezman, would be great to see him scoring in Spain.

EDIT - i just read posts on XT, i saw you learned the word

WE ALL NEW FB WAS DIRTY!

Many, many mistakes in 1 sentence with 6 words only (i'm not even talking about misspells)…

1. First of all, the team is called "Fenerbahçe"... F-E-N-E-R-B-A-H-Ç-E. Unfortunately even Fenerbahçe fans call the team "fb" or "fenerbahce"… However, just a little reminder how to show respect when you post on the Fenerbahçe board.

2. "WE all knew…" Who is "WE ALL"?? "WE ALL" includes EVERYBODY… herewith you got allowance to cancel my name because i don't belong to this group of "we all".

3. "WE ALL KNEW" – Who knows what??? Nobody knows anything, every single of these accusations made towards Fenerbahçe and Aziz Yıldırım miss any proof! Those who are fighting Fenerbahçe WISH they had any proofs, but there aren't any because things like this (bribe) might be usual habit somewhere else and therefore people expect everybody else does so, but never forget - Fenerbahçe is not "everybody". So once again the request: Who "knows" what?? The only fact that is known by now for sure is that this person oksay (and hopefully the manipulators behind him right away with him) will be taken to court. This has been the first and the last time he slandered Fenerbahçe and its Board.

4. Who do you call "dirty"? If you like to throw with mud, please do it at home but not here on the Fenerbahçe board calling this team "dirty". Fenerbahçe is not dirty.

OF course u beleive its false, your a FB fan lol your not going to say yes. And what the hell is ISLAM Cup?
Why are you so furious and hectical? I saw you are a mod, you should know what's written in the forum you're responsible for. First you missed the various posts about this 3 days old news, like serhat09 already told you, and then you missed the "I" in "Islam Çupi"... Take your time, calm down.

Well, as far as i could see there are more cimboms posting, so he's not alone. Even if he was alone - so? Everybody should be aware of the reactions the moment he calls Fenerbahçe "dirty" on a Fenerbahçe board.

After Sunday i'll remind you on your words ;)

Fotomac reports that BJK is after Alex. It reports that after Alex heard that Kezman was earning 3.5 million euros he said he would not sign a new contract unless he got the same amount or more.

Most likely a false story but i do not believe alex deserves that kind of money from fener after seeing his performance this year. No where in the world would he make the same money and we should not overpay him. This fame has already obviously got to his head and it has affected his gameplay.

Fenerbahçemiz, Fenerbahçe Şükrü Saracoğlu Stadı’nda geçen Pazar günü oynanan Galatasaray maçında, bir kaç kendini bilmezin sahaya attığı yabancı maddeler nedeniyle Profesyonel Futbol Disiplin Kurulu’na sevk edildi.

Well lets see wat punishment they will give us. They gave TB a one game home ban, i bet we get atleast 3 or point reductions.

I saw some pictures today that make hate those so called Fenerbahce fans even more.

The more i hear from these self-constituted and egomaniac Fenerbahçe "judges" (polat demanding 5 games behind close doors – who the heck does he think he is??) the more i believe in my hypothesis that most of these ongoings were provoked by non-Fenerbahçelis.

I refuse to even call these people "Fenerbahçelis" who committed these incidents. Not everybody who wears Fenerbahçe colours is a Fenerbahçeli. Example: would anybody here call tahir kiran a Fenerbahçeli just because he's a member of the Congress??

Unlike mondi okan showed bad character by throwing back objects to the stands from his bench...idiot.

Digiturk has taken this to another lvl
