Or do you think someone else will pip them for the title.

The way things are going currently, I can see Cardiff getting promoted, but winning the season is another thing.

Your thoughts on this please :)

I agree with you that they may get promoted. They have started really well, but unfortunately their squad is not very strong in depth...I fear that the winter months will catch them out when they start picking up injuries....Even if they don't get injuries their squad will tire...I expect Burnley to fade too. Preston might get automatic promotion and Birmingham are looking very strong again with a big squad, premiership experience, good following and lots of money to spend in January when the transfer window opens.

1. Birmingham
2. Preston
3. Cardiff
4. West Brom
5. Derby
6. Burnley

I don't think Derby are strong enough. If West Brom find a consistancy they will come second. Derby have chances in play off though.

They were unlucky to be relegated it was only Portsmouths championship winning form at the end of last season that kept them up. Preston are strong and I think could figure in the fight for second place.

Well not so sure about being unlucky. They had a terrible run of form but they have premisership players and don't really deserve to be in the Championship but isn't that always the case. I like Bruce (because of his playing days for MU) but think it may be a struggle again next season after coming straight up (I'm assuming they will now ). Hope he gets some funds to strengthen his side.

I really do hope Preston go up. I used to live in Preston when I was young and the city is only 20 miles away. It would be good to see them in the Prem although I think they'd struggle to stay up!

You can't support Derby you're an Inter fan. You have an interest in Derby but don't support them. You are only allowed to support ONE team Laury. That's International Law!! ;)

Cardiff still could be promoted, but winning the league seems to be a different matter.

Birmingham are dominant now. They won 4-0 away from home today. That is 10 wins in 12 games and the fifth game in a row that they have scored 3 or more goals. Champion form!

Oh I forgot to add....the cheque book opens next week too and we are by far the wealthiest club in the Championship. I am going to watch them on Boxing Day play QPR.

Birmingham is pretty much a sell out on Boxing Day...The crowd expects!!! Steve Bruce has publicly made it be known that he wants to be 10 points clear of the 3rd placed team by the end of January.

We play 3 games in about 5 days cos we are the fastest and fittest league in the world. We are the entertainers! Birmingham won yet again...And it was very easy. 8 points clear going into Fridays game with Luton who have lost 7 away games in a row. Me thinks it will be 11 points clear by the time the rest play on Saturday. We will be the champions by April :)

Oh Laury that is pretty lame! C'mon what has the cold got to do with playing football? Most of the teams play 4 games over the Christmas period in the UK whatever the weather.

Also, it is widely rumoured that Birmingham wll be bidding for Luton Town and Trinidad & Tobago International Carlos Edwards in January. Watch this space...

Birmingham 2 - 2 Luton. Luton played well in poor conditions, Birmingham salvaged a point late on and are 9 points clear going into the last round of this years games tomorrow.

Birmingham will win, i saw them afew weeks back at hillsborough and we made them look poor and to be perfectly honest played them off the park... but they have clinical finishers and scored 3 goals from 3 shots.

Wednesday are in good form though and we might scrape a play off position.

Cardiff might squeeze back into the play off picture. Derby suffered a bad loss last night and I think they may have hit the wall. It is looking very possible that both Birmingham teams Birmingham City and West Brom will go up directly.
