Stankovic agent set for Real Madrid talks this week

Real Madrid are moving for Inter Milan midfielder Dejan Stankovic.
The Serbia & Montenegro international's agent, Vinicio Fioranelli, is travelling to Madrid this week for talks with Real coach Fabio Capello and directors Franco Baldini and Pedja Mijatovic.

Fioranelli is reportedly to sound out Real about the seriousness of their interest, with Stankovic now inside the final two years of his current Inter deal.

An end-of-season move to Spain is on the agenda for the summit in Madrid

i doubt he will come, alot.

first of all he worked his butt off at Inter to get a starting position and now he's on fire.If we were to buy him at the end of the season he could lose his form and lose his comfort in La Liga because he is suited for Serie A very much so.
It would be another stupid move made by the managers.

Just because a player is doing well doesn't mean we have to buy him the next year.

If we bought him earlier he would have been 1/4 of the price he is now... imagine how much he will be worth at the end of the season when Inter win the Scudetto(obvious) and go for the CL.

i wouldnt give inter more than a 45% chance to win the Scudetto, plus if i know anything i would think he is fustrated at inter.
then reyes might be going back to arsenal who knows, cause it is a 1 year swap loan deal. and then we would be short another left winger again, plus where robinho is pushed into the middle now anyway

Agent of Inter Milan's Stankovic cools Real Madrid interest

The agent of Inter Milan midfielder Dejan Stankovic has played down reports of a meeting with Real Madrid officials this week.
Vinicio Fioranelli told calciomercato.com: "Without a doubt, it's always appealing to know of the interest of a great club like Real Madrid, but we have not had contact, nor is there an appointment with the club or president Ramon Calderon.

"Dejan is very happy in Milan and is in love with the Nerazzurra shirt.

"His contract expires in 2008? For our part, there is the maximum availability to extend it and we have said this to the leadership approximately six months ago. We are now waiting for an answer from Inter."

Pedja Mijatovic should have done this a long time ago, Stankovic is what Real needs.

Stankovic drifts through games doing nothing much and then bangs in the occasional spectacular goal and some people forget that he did nothing else in the whole match.
If he doesn't score in a game then you dont even notice he's on the pitch.

Deki and Mijatovic are good friends I wouldnt be surprised if Deki leaves Inter for Real.

But I really hope that doesnt happen because I hate Real:D
