Barcelona close in on Independiente keeper Ustari

Barcelona are closing in on Independiente goalkeeper Oscar Ustari.
The 20 year-old is close friends with Barca whiz Lionel Messi and is a confirmed target for the European champs.

With Barca sports chief Txiki Begiristain still in Argentina as part of the completion of their partnership deal with Arsenal, local reports state he has also held talks with Independiente about a fee for Ustari.

Barcelona keeper Jorquera shrugs off Ustari rumours

Barcelona reserve goalkeeper Alberto Jorquera has shrugged off reports Independiente keeper Oscar Ustari is wanted by the Spanish champs.
The Argentine's arrival would put Jorquera's place in jeopardy, but he said: "Barcelona always looks for the best thing it can have in the market. At the moment there is Victor Valdes and I. If they've chosen someone else, well, we'll just have to see what happens."
