So much hostility and all of it started because of what my fellow balding Scotsman said on TV...

1st. George Galloway (who is a Scottish member of parliament, although representing a part of London, and a part of London that has a majority of Islamic voters) is someone who I feel I have a bit more knowledge than most of you here.

Let me give you the lowdown on "Gorgeous" George, as our media like to call him. Galloway is a left-wing politician who feels let down by Tony Blair's government. The Labour party, formerly a socialist, left wing party have become more right wing in Blairs time.

Galloway, while he was a member of the Labour party (the British Prime Ministers political group), complained about the UK's participation in the Iraq war, like many hundreds of thousands of other UK citizens.

He called Tony Blair a liar (a BIG no-no) and criticised our involvement. He was subsequently ejected from the party. This may also have something to do with the fact that he has, and this is on camera, saluted the "strength" of former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein. (Muslim or not, this guy WAS a dictator).

George likes a bit of controversy (and publicity) and is highly outspoken about what is happening in the middle east, and also pretty much anything else. Some of what he says makes perfect sense. Some is a bit dubious.

I believe that everything he says, he believes in, but wether I do....well, some yes, some no.

To be fair, he seems to speak out for what he sees as injustices in this world, and I agree, there seems to be a lot of injustice right now to those of Islamic beliefs from the US, Israel and the rest of Bush's lapdogs, the UK included.

Galloway has a lot good points and is not afraid to say what he thinks, in spite of the HUGE animosity the British press have for him. For that, he has my respect. But some things he says, well, lets just say he was better keeping his mouth shut.

He's neither a hero, nor a villain. Just someone who stands up for what he believes in, wether right or wrong. I think he should be respected for that if not for his politics.

2nd. The whole USA destroyed the twin towers nonsense, I agree, STOP IT!! I dislike Bush as much as the next person but crying out loud,there is nothing but circumstantial evidence. Just like there is nothing but circumstantial evidence backing up any other argument about the Twin towers.

Maybe it was Bush, maybe it was Osama, maybe it was the fairies who live at the bottom of my garden. We'r never goiing to know. So let's just leave it.

3rd. The whole "muslims are all terrorist - it's against Islam to be a terrorist" or "Islam preaches peace - Why does every mulsim become a suicide bomber" bla-blah-blah nonsense. Sicillian was right. Theses are issues which CAN NOT be resolved on a forum for football. Any muslims out there are not going to convince any Christians out there, and vice-versa, that they are right.

So let's all just calm down and if you don't like someones views, I'm pretty sure there is an "ignore" option on this forum, so bloody well use it!!

I honestly believe that Weapons of Mass destruction was a lie. I think our intelligence agencies are a joke relying way too much on high tech gadgets to do their work for them and far too little on on the ground work.

And you know well that on a lot of these issues i cannot provide cold hard evidence, and i know well that you cannot so i do not get the point of this accusation.

I can bring up articles "proving" my point of view just as easily as you can bring up articles "proving" yours, but really it is just the writers opinion and assumptions and i do not like to take their words for what is happening as most of the time they are writing what gets them popularity and cash and is nearly always very biased one way or the other.
