now you have to throw in home field advantage (bosnian style)
most teams don't even send their regulars to the away games - in order to save their legs (literally)
thats pretty smart though...
lol joking but see i didnt know that because i hardly get to watch their games

Partizan has five draws this year while Red Star has six, the league isn't as easy as you think.
As for Vojvodina, they used to be one of the good sides in the former Yugoslavia, as good or even slightly better than Sarajevo or Zeljeznicar, since they won two national titles, as well as three runner-up titles, they participated in two national cup finals and they made the European Cup (Champions League) quarterfinals once.

yeah I don't get to watch the games - sometimes I get to watch Zeljo's home games but they are taped
usually I watch the higlights, read about it through zillion of sites and talk about it with maniacs

yeah vojvodina was definately better than zeljeznicar and sarajevo at some points of time and sometimes they were the best.

It's true they didn't lose but it's only a matter of time, Partizan should've lost today but the referee decided otherwise.
Last year Partizan got killed on certain occasions, such as the humiliating 3-0 loss vs Hajduk Kula, or Red Star who lost 3-1 vs Bezanija and 3-0 vs Vojvodina at home (this is when the fans scanded "Dusane odlazi, Dusane odlazi!"... and Bajevic left)

I would say that Vojvodina did better than Sarajevo or Zeljo in the old Yugo. (but they were close)
do you have the all time standings and the all time cup results?

from the 88/89 shit hit the fans and I those wins not wins prove nothing - most of the games there at the end were rewarded 3:0 for the oposition when croatian and bosnian clubs "played"
In my opinion Sarajevo and Zeljeznicar did better - that 88/89 win from Vojvodina after they were relagated raised their position but despite that I think Zeljo and Sarajevo did better

Well, I think that if we look through every season, Vojvodina has dominated. Vojvodina has dominated if we look at the number of titles, runner-up titles, national cup finals but also the last but certainly not the least, European competitions.
The 1988/89 title for Vojvodina was completely regular and well-deserved. The two last seasons could perhaps be considered irregular but ironically, it was Yugoslavia's best moment on the European stage.
To be truly honest, they've been pretty equal.

Vojvodina dominated? hehe
88/89 season I don't put weight on it
European stage - Zeljo was minutes away from Uefa Cup final and it's ranked ahead lot of good teams in Uefa competition rankings (Sarajevo is not that good but still better (not a lot) than Vojvodina :))

In 1967, Vojvodina was minutes away from the European Cup semifinals, losing 2-1 on aggregate against the eventual champions, Celtic.
As for the UEFA Rankings, there are hundreds of different sites for it, who all have different rankings, so we can't say they're undisputable.
Do you think Sarajevo and Zeljo are better teams than Vojvodina today? I would say Vojvodina is better at the moment we speak.

European Cup in not the same thing as Uefa Champions League
yeah there is different ways they give points to varoius competitions that are now in play
Celik Zenica won some Mitropa Cup 2 times lol
Vojvodina and Red Star won it also once
p.s. lol you said they were minutes away from the european cup final but they 2:0 in the second game (unless Celtic scored 2 goals in the last minute or you assume 90 minutes then yeah you are right lol  ... in that case I'm only minutes away from the next world cup ...a lot of minutes - - - in 1984/1985 season Zeljo was 2 was going through and then we let a goal in and Videoton went through game ended 2:1 for Zeljo but it wasn'e enough - ***k we could have played against Real Madrid  )
right now? I don't know but I know that Zeljo would give them a match

I think he meant Gojko Kacar, maybe his nickname is Gocar (Gojko Kacar). He's a Vojvodina player and yes, he is a phenomenon. He scored three goals against Partizan last week and is the league's top scorer even if he plays at a midfielder/defensive midfielder position.

He already stated that he won't move to Partizan or Red Star, who are both eagerly wanting his services. Bundesliga could be a good move, but I hope he stays in Vojvodina for at least one more year since he's still very young and could help the team win the title and compete in Europe next season.

Anyways, Kacar is not a scissor kick specialist, unlike Brkovic, but he is a truly gifted player. I hope he stays at Vojvodina for another season, and then he can go away with Vojvodina earning some very good cash off him.

I watched the college final Furman vs. UNCG. it was 0-0 for 90 mins and a bosnian named Haris Cekic scored the golden goal in the last minute of extra time and Furman are college champions again. haris cekic was player of the week many times and he is in the all-star college team. this guy has really great skills, he played for U17 Bosnia and now is 18 and a freshman and hes one of the best players in college soccer:
http://furmanpaladins.cstv.com/sports/m-soccer/mtt/cekic_haris00.html
he won championships in basketball and volleyball and is an outstanding ping pong player (undefeated in the game in the last two years!!)
this guy could play for bosnia when he becomes 22 or something because then he'll most likely move to a European club, but if not, he'll play in MLS for sure. this guy can dribble man...

serbia and spain tied 1-1 in futsal. serbia shouldve won that game even though they required the last minute to score. they were the better team overall though
I watched the last 35 minutes of that. Serbia had like 80% possesion in that time and the only shot they took on goal during that time was in the last 40 seconds and it went in. Russia has to beat Spain now and Serbia has to beat Ukraine with lots of goals to move on, probably won't happen.

Total 5 Uefa Futsal Championships were held (Spain won 3 of them and finished 3rd at the other two championships)
Total 7 UEFS Futsal Championship were held (Spain won 1, 2 second place finishes and finished 3rd one of the times)
So far 6 UEFA Futsal Cups have been held (Spainish clubs won it 4 times, finished second 1 time, finished 3rd four times and finished 4th one time)
and this is how they have done on International stage
Since 1989 : FIFA Futsal World Cups
Main article: FIFA Futsal World Cup (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FIFA_Futsal_World_Cup)
1989 (in Rotterdam, Netherlands). Winner: Brazil. Runner-Up: Netherlands. 3rd: USA. 4th: Belgium.
1992 (in Hong Kong). Winner: Brazil. Runner-Up: USA. 3rd: Spain. 4th: Iran.
1996 (in Barcelona, Spain). Winner: Brazil. Runner-Up: Spain (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spain_national_futsal_team). 3rd: Russia. 4th: Ukraine.
2000 (in Guatemala City, Guatemala). Winner: Spain. Runner-Up: Brazil. 3rd: Portugal. 4th: Russia.
2004 (in Taiwan). Winner: Spain (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spain_national_futsal_team). Runner-Up: Italy. 3rd: Brazil. 4th: Colombia. As you can see they won the last two futsal world cups, finished runners up in 1996 (lost 6-4 to Brasil) and finished 3rd in 1992.
Basically that is why I said it is a big deal to draw Spain.

Champions League changes agreed
Friday 30 November 2007
http://www.uefa.com/multimediafiles/photo/uefa/keytopics/630644_biglandscape.jpg
Between 2009 and 2012, some 22 teams will qualify directly for the UEFA Champions League group stage instead of 16, and the UEFA Champions League final will be played on a Saturday, under format changes agreed by the UEFA Executive Committee at its meeting in Lucerne, Switzerland, on Friday.
Group stage unchanged
There will be no changes to the main part of European club football's most prestigious competition, which will continue to feature 32 teams split into eight groups of four in the group stage, followed by the knockout phase. The eight sides that finish in third place in their groups will move into the knockout phase of the UEFA Cup – which also has an amended format.
Access list
However, the UEFA Champions League access list between 2009 and 2012 will change accordingly: 22 teams go through directly to the group stage instead of 16. The six additional clubs will be the third-placed sides from the associations ranked between 1 and 3 in the ranking list, and the champions of countries ranked from 10 to 12.
Qualifying routes
Ten teams will qualify through a double qualifying route – one is reserved for the champions of the associations ranked from 13 to 53, with the exception of Liechtenstein. Five clubs will qualify via this route. The other path is reserved for the non-champions of associations rated between 1 and 15.
Saturday final
The final from 2009/10 will be played on a Saturday, in the same week of the year as now, kicking off at 20.45CET. Matches in the first knockout round, featuring 16 clubs, will be split over four weeks instead of two, using dates reserved for UEFA club competitions in February and March. The third qualifying round will be marketed centrally by UEFA.
Great competition
"We are all of the opinion that this is a great competition which provides a considerable spectacle," said UEFA President Michel Platini. "The Executive Committee has unanimously adopted one of three proposals. I wanted more democracy in the access list, and the Executive Committee has understood this message.
Good for football
"I think that the decision which has been taken, in particular to spread the first knockout round over four weeks, is good for football, because it gives an added value to these matches," he added. It is also hoped that playing the UEFA Champions League final on a Saturday will give families, especially children, the chance to see the game.
UEFA Cup format
The UEFA Cup between 2009 and 2012 will feature 48 sides, split into 12 groups of four; the top two teams in each group will qualify for the knockout phase and be joined by the eight clubs that finish the group stage of the UEFA Champions League in third place. The knockout stage, with 32 sides and four rounds, will lead to the final, played in a single match at a neutral venue. The first round – currently knockout – will become part of the qualifying phase.
Title-holders
Only the title-holders will qualify directly for the UEFA Cup group stage, with all other clubs having to qualify. The qualifying process will consist of four rounds, with 37 additional slots compared to the present situation, to accommodate sides that currently qualify for the UEFA Intertoto Cup (from the associations ranked 9 to 15 and 22 to 51, except Liechtenstein). Losing teams in the UEFA Champions League second qualifying round and third qualifying round will move into the UEFA Cup fourth qualifying round and group phase respectively.
Thursday night
UEFA Cup ties will be played on a Thursday night – or on a Wednesday night during exclusive UEFA Cup weeks – with two kick-off times, in principle at 19.05 and 21.05CET. The final will take place on a Wednesday at 20.45.
UEFA Intertoto Cup abolished
Under the format decisions, the UEFA Intertoto Cup, UEFA's summer competition which has provided places in the UEFA Cup, will be abolished. No changes have been made to the format of the UEFA Super Cup, the game that brings together the UEFA Champions League winners and UEFA Cup holders, but this will now be sold in the same commercial package as the UEFA Champions League.

tied with Misimovic and Barbarez also who have 4 goals so far. That can change tomorrow when Leverkusen-Rostock and Nurnberg-Hertha. its a must win for Nurnberg, they have to get out of relegation and fast. its not early in the season anymore, they better stop playing around

Leverkusen make it five in a row
http://www.uefa.com/multimediafiles/photo/footballeurope/footballeurope/634391_mediumsquare.jpg
Bayer 04 Leverkusen won their fifth Bundesliga match in succession 3-0 at home to FC Hansa Rostock on Sunday while 1. FC Nürnberg eased their relegation worries with a 2-1 win at home to Hertha BSC Berlin.
Rolfes opener
Michael Skibbe's Leverkusen qualified for the UEFA Cup Round of 32 on Thursday with victory at home to AC Sparta Praha and supporters at the BayArena had more to celebrate today. Simon Rolfes put the home side ahead on four minutes before Paul Freier doubled the advantage from the penalty spot eight minutes after the restart. Theofanis Gekas completed the scoring 17 minutes from time. It was Leverkusen's fifth league win in a row, outscoring their opponents 16-2 in the process.
Charisteas scores
The victory lifts them to within a point of third-placed Hamburger SV, while defeat sees Rostock drop back into the relegation places with Nürnberg climbing above them after winning their fourth league game this season. At home to Hertha, Angelos Charisteas put Nürnberg ahead on five minutes then Zvjezdan Misimović added the second six minutes before half-time. Fabien Lutzenberger pulled a goal back midway through the second half but Nürnberg were able to hold on for an important victory as Hertha fell to their third straight defeat.

He can score a goal in almost every German League game but not for his national team.. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh :mad2: What is wrong with you Pante??
P.S what websites do you watch these games on?
http://www.sopcast.com/
Download SopCast. its a little confusing and you have to get used to it. use it for some time and youll get used to it. when you have successfully downloaded it... login as "anonymous" and click on "Live Channels" on top of the small SopCast box. then choose from the channels to watch. theyre all live and you can watch UEFA cup and UEFA champions league, league, etc. games on there, but some games arent aired though. :)
oh yeah and you might need this:
http://livetv.ru/en/eventinfo/6113/
the games on the top left part of the website is where live games come everyday and you can click on one of them so it can show you on which channel the game is going to be in

Klasnic came back from a kidney transplant (had to wait 1 year!) and was the hero for Bremen, scoring two goals. Congrats to him!
Olic was the hero for Hamburg today, scoring the last minute goal to tie with Karlsruher 1-1. Karlsruher is getting better and better!
Again nice weekend for Croatians.

Struggling Metz part ways with De Taddeo
FC Metz have dismissed their coach Francis de Taddeo with the side propping up Ligue 1 and nine points adrift of the rest of the pack.
Three week warning
The promoted side have won just a single game this season, scoring nine goals in 19 league games. "We decided to see if results would improve over the last three weeks but as we have not picked up a point in those three games, the club have decided to part ways with De Taddeo", a statement from the club said following Metz's 2-0 loss at FC Lorient. "The new coach will be a person who knows both Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 very well."
Loyal servant
De Taddeo, who turned 50 on 19 December, has been working on Metz's coaching staff for 20 years. He took charge for the 2006/07 season and led the Lorraine side to the Ligue 2 title picking up the biggest tally of wins in the league's history along the way.

GIRLS have voted Wayne Rooney No1 – in a poll of the world’s UGLIEST footballers.
Rooney, 22 – often compared to movie ogre Shrek – beat Barcelona’s bucktoothed Brazilian Ronaldinho and Manchester United teammate Carlos Tevez.
Of women polled by www.thepeoplesclub.com (http://www.thepeoplesclub.com/), 33 per cent picked the England star.
But a fifth of girls said they would go out with an ugly footballer just for their money.
Top 10:
1. Wayne Rooney,
2. Ronaldinho,
3. Carlos Tevez,
4. Peter Crouch,
5. Ronaldo,
6. Luke Chadwick,
7. Robbie Fowler,
8. Darren Fletcher,
9. Rio Ferdinand,
10. Ruud Van Nistelrooy.

Dva gola Barbareza u Bayerovoj petardi
http://sportin.ba/SlikeVijesti/barabarez_leverkusen_2102.jpg

4 German teams
3 English teams
2 Portuguese teams
1 Spanish team
1 French team
1 Italian team
1 Holland team
1 Scottish team
1 Russian team
------------
This was what I was saying all the time. Bundesliga top 4 may not be as good as Spanish top four or English... but the rest of the clubs in the league are better than the rest of the clubs in the other leagues. It could've easily been 5 German clubs but Nurnberg couldn't hold 2-0 for the last 2 minutes. Clubs like Stuttgart and Wolfsburg who aren't in top 5 can beat teams like Benfica or Getafe. UEFA only recognizes what the top teams do. That's why they put Italian, Spanish, and English atop Bundesliga. Bundesliga is actually supposed to be the best league because the depth of talent through all clubs is better. Nurnberg could've easily kept the score and beaten Benfica and they are in relegation in Bundesliga.

Polish player Adam Ledwon has killed himself. He was found hanged in his apartment by a teammate. Adam has played for Leverkusen, Koln,. Austria Wien etc..and has 18 caps for his country.
He killed himself due to personal issues and his departure with his wife. I have no idea how some people are this ridiculous. You got all this wealth and fortune and u commit suicide while some people out there live like rats and carry on. Wow.

He doesn't care if he burned all of his money or committed a crime. He doesn't even care about his life in general.

Your life should be something you love as much as you love your wife, family, kids, friends. Even tho everybody puts their life's ahead of their own which I think is needed. However, you need self-respect and know that even you are a being. Killing yourself is one of the biggest tragedies you can commit. In a way you have committed murder, while dying.

I don't know what to tell you. I think life isn't something we should be greedy about. I'll take mine for as long as god gives me, and I'm not too particularly scared of dying either. I've cheated death more times than I can count, and I'm sure other here have too that lived through the war or some other experiences. I've learned alot from it and I know that I would never kill myself for somebody else, but I wouldn't be mad if I died helping somebody especially a life younger than mine.
