big game, but im worried because the defence doesnt seem to bre right still, Torres, Aguero, and Maxi Rodriguez are dangerous attackers. I think we can control the midfield because diarra is playing really well and emerson will only improve. thier defence doesnt worry that much especially with the way raul, nistelrooy, guti, reyes, and cassano are playing.
Well Raul, Ruud, Reyes and the whole team got a very good boost of confidence. Hope this 5:1 win will help Real to perform their best.
Looking forward to seeing DA DERBY this sunday

both sides have been doing pretty good so far, but i agree that is one heck of a confidence boost with the 5-1 win
Torres: Atletico the equal of Real Madrid
September 27, 2006
Atletico Madrid captain Fernando Torres insists they go into this weekend's derby against Real as equals.
"We have nothing to envy Real for," Torres, "We go into this game as equals. The previous goals or results do not concern us.
"Real Madrid plays on its field and is favorite, that is clear. Real will have to play their game and we will try to play ours.
"We are not inferior to Real Madrid. A victory will change the most recent history of derbies. Now it is a good moment to play against Real Madrid."
On his new strike-partner, Sergio Aguero, Torres said: "He is a phenomenon and it is necessary to give him time to demonstrate his qualities. He cannot do everything in two days.
"He is great, but he is 18 years old and needs time. He has demonstrated great personality and it is good that there are people to share the responsibilities."

It was a great Game, Guti and Reyes were great, Guti MOTM until he was subsistuted, he will think again about bad mouthing Athletico I think after the way they kicked him off the pitch...
Emerson was invisible and very inafective, Cannavaro was great, Ramos should have never been given the Red card, Van Nistlerooy worked hard and was unlucky with his one chance....
Overall I was happy with the point considering we were down to 10 men for 30 minutes and didnt play our best.
