Berlin, Germany (Sports Network) - Saturday's match between Alemannia Aachen
and Borussia Moenchengladbach brought the German soccer federation (DFB) to
action.

The organization began the initial stages of an investigation pertaining to
racist incidents that occurred during the contest in Aachen.

According to the DFB, racist comments were made during the game
toward Moenchengladbach's Kahe. The Aachen fans chanted 'Asylant'at the
Brazilian striker, which means asylum seeker.

"We regret the occurrences very much," Alemannia managing director Bernd Maas
told the club's website,"Such expressions do not have any (place) in our
society."

"These or similar defamation calls are unwanted with us and our fans."

Moenchengladbach supporters followed up with racial abuse directed toward the
home team's Moses Sichone.

Aachen won the game 4-2.

This isn't the first time the DFB needed to step forward.

It fined Hansa Rostock's regional league squad last week following a German
Cup match that consisted of fans shouting racist remarks at a Schalke 04
player.

We dont need racism in football.............we dont need racism anywhere !!
