View Full Version : Panathinaikos-Olympiakos (29.10) tickets?

I would need some help with the tickets to the derby on 29.10. I might be in Athens at the time and would really like to attend to the match. From where should i start my hunting, www.ticketclub.gr sells only seasontickets through their website?

It is too early to get simple tickets for this game. The tickets are usually out 7-12 days before the game. You have to be in Athens then to get them.

I don't think that ordering single tickets online is available, since I never did it. I usually go and buy the tickets my self and I think that's the only way.

If you are interested I can tell you the places you can get them.

I have heard same, but i will be in Athens only a day before the game and it will be sold out at the time. This is where i would need some help...

I gues they changed the date, right?! Perfect...So, any idea in what game we should attend instead?

These are the spots you can buy tickets for the home games of Panathinaikos:

1. Apostolos Nikolaides stadium (old Panathinaikos stadium, Alexandras avenue). The tickets are sold in the gates 4 and 11.

2. Entrance of Kymis avenue

3. Eirini station (ISAP city-railway network)

4. Athens Olympic stadium - Northeast entrance (From Kiphisias avenue)


Watch out: Usually, when the tickets are out they are available ONLY in the two first spots. The other two spots are where the tickets are sold only the day of the game (if they are any left).

The Panathinaikos-Olympiakos game will be played at November 5 instead of October 29. They changed some dates of this season because we have provinsional elections in Greece this year.

Which days are you going to be in Athens? Maybe I can tell you if they are any interesting games that period.

Booked flights too early and without knowing about the elections, so are travel dates are: 28-31.10

The main elections are in October 15 so the games of this period postponed for later, therefore all of the previously arranged games after this date will be played later.

You are unlucky because you will not have the chance to feel the atmosphere of a Panathinaikos-Olympiakos derby, but you are also lucky, since the 8th matchday of the Greek Superleague will be played in October 28 and 29.

These are the games will be played that matchday (I underline the ones which are in the Athens area):

Olympiakos-Ergotelis
AEK Athens-Apollon Kalamarias
AEL Larissa-PAOK
Kerkyra-Panionios
Ionikos-Atromitos Athens
Ofi-Aris
Egaleo-Xanthi
Iraklis-Panathinaikos

I don't think you will have any problems finding tickets for these games, even the same day of the game.

That is what we have thought too. I guess AEK and Olympiakos will play on a different day (that is what someone told me)...these two games will be on our list then, i gues! Thanks for your help! One day iŽll have to fly back to Athens just for the derby!

Like Panathinaikos2, I would suggest you the Olympiakos game for the best atmosphere, as their stadium is smaller, less spread and it usually gets full.

Even if the atmosphere of Olympiakos-Ergotelis can't be compared with the one of Olympiakos-Panathinaikos, Greek club teams fans are always passionate.
