I think they will. They will obviously bring a new look to the world cup seeing as how their culture is completely different than any other nation to host the world cup.

I think the Japanese are very proud and have a great work ethic and definately don't do things half assed.

They'll put on a good show, much better than France did. I don't think the Japanese will have a whole BS ticket system like the French did. The French proved that they aren't as cultured as they like to think they are.

The Japanese will put on a great show!

I agree. France made the world mad with that ticket system. I also agree that Japan will be a good host because as FIFA said, the Japanese left the stadiums cleaner than when they arrived. :) And that's a good thing. ;)

And finally, soccer will SPREAD more in Asia. :)

Yes that's an extra benefit. For all of us who love the game, we want to see it spread. It's already all over the world, but it needs to develop in continents like Asia.

How do you think Japan will do in the tournament since they are hosts. Do you think the home support will guide them through to the next round?

I would like to see it.

All I'm asking for from Japan is to get to the second round. That would be amazing if they did, but I'm nost sure if they can do it. The home crowd will have a big effect on how they do. Come on Japan! :)

The colors haven't been updated in this forum, have they. . . :)
